Is it fine to derank?
I was watching a streamer playing yesterday and they were rank 2, then they started playing today and now they're rank 10. Leaving a game doesn't drop you 2 pips, it drops you 1 now, and you'd have to basically afk to get the final derank.
That means they would have to leave close to 40 games, as there is no way they would simply play out 40 games off stream and be 100% useless to avoid a black pip, and more likely you would play another game while you do either way.
Isn't it kind of ironic to complain about playing against "sweaty tryhard" killers or how it isn't fun at red ranks as a survivor, but you then willingly ruin the game for four other people in 40 games. Then, you happily do 4 man SWF to bully and ruin the game for dozens more killers until you hit red rank on a stream, only to do it again, and again, and again?

Rank reset just happened so it was probably that. Most people don't derank.

If you didn't get your timings incorrect and it wasn't the rank reset then yea that's a pretty ######### streamer and I would put him/her on blast for being a dick, encourage people to unfollow, etc etc.
I've seen quite a few randoms folks just "deranking" especially on killer that I don't understand what compels so many people to go that route rather than just... playing the game? Even the most "stressful" tryhard teams can't be nearly as boring as spending hours to ran down from R1 back to R10.
