Can’t Join Friends Lobby

So me and my friend are trying to play together but we can’t. We tried restarting and even hard restarting(aka turning off the game). It keeps saying she’s joining then a couple seconds later it says she has left. And she says it keeps saying party doesn’t exist and idk wat the problem is

Have you both tried turning your computers off and back on? I don't know what the problem is, but I'm not having it.

Last time I had this problem on my Xbox I had to uninstall and reinstall the game
