FPS Drop Fixes, Post Your Possible Fixes

I've been experiencing occasional FPS drops for a while now. I tried everything from updating my drivers, reinstalling the game, changing quality settings, and nothing helped. My FPS drops came a few minutes apart from each other, and dropped my FPS from 60 to less than 20. However, I found a fix for my specific issue. I simply turned off the auto adjust setting in my display settings. What I think was happening was that my FPS maybe dropped from 60 to 40 or something, and dbd tried to adjust my resolution to fix it, but ended up making it worse. So try turning off auto adjust if you're getting these issues, and see if it helps! If you've had FPS drops and have possible solutions to everyone who experiences them, post them here!
