How does Technician interact with the new gen sounds

The new sounds seem so loud and easy to hear from a killer POV, that I feel like Technician is finally worth running. Didn't have the chance to try it yet, but have any of you tried it? What do you think about it?

I tried running Technician the day of the change and haven’t noticed a difference in volume. It seemed to be bugged but I don’t know if it’s been changed since then.

It still does the new loud gen sounds unfortunately. I don't know if it's bugged.

Hasn't technician always lowered the radius of gen sounds, not the actual volume?

It's kind of hard to test because the sounds will be the same for Survivors, the Killer would be the only one to notice the difference because they wouldn't hard to from as far away

The previous repair noises were reduced. You were able to tell if you had the perk based on the difference the noises make. Yes, it reduces the repair noise in an 8 meter radius, but also your actual repair sounds.
