Diversion Additional Idea
Idk about you, but i find this Perk to be quite weak.
I mean, creating a loud noise notification is cool and all, but you can do that with so many things already. And those don't require Terror Radius time.
But i just now thought of something that may allow you to mess even more with the Killer, though it'd still be a weak Perk to me.
When the Perk is active, and you are crouched and motionless like it already wants you to, once you throw the Pebble, you will then become completely invisible for 30 (or whatever) seconds.
Once the blabla seconds are up, once you uncrouch or once you start moving, you become visible again.

Yeah, i know about the number, i can't find an actual good value in my imagination.

Just a few seconds, I think....enough for the killer to do a loop around the object you're crouched behind and think he lost you, but not enough for you to be a hook farmer. And of course if the killer knew where you hid and runs up and hits you, you would get hit and pop out of stealth. I would say rank 1/2/3 should be like 4/6/10 seconds.

Literally it should do anything else than it does. It'll probs work on new killer from rank 20-15(ish)

I was really looking forward to this perk as it sounded pretty awesome. I've spent money getting the DLC, spent 800000BP unlocking the teachable, and it's just a very weak perk. I'm so disenchanted. It's 45 second load up in the darn terror radius time that makes it unviable in my opinion. Survivors have had pretty bad perks for a few chapters now Won't be spending money again unfortunately0

Stupid Claudette tried to hook farm me, found her later with pebble ready and threw it at her. No regrets

People on here have discussed about making it token based, where you can save up uses. One change I would like otherwise, is that the pebble would also create fake scratch marks in the direction of the throw.

@Manta they’ve had “terrible” perks because a lot of the ones you already have are so powerful that adding something of equal worth would already once again tip the scale in the survivor’s favor.
To sum it up, they have to be careful with how powerful new perks are, given that the killers were given a weak killer and pretty terrible perks, it’s only fair that weak survivor perks are added as well.1 -
Here are my thoughts on what Diversion should be...
45-second cooldown. No tokens, no requirement to be in the killer's TR, just a 45-second cooldown. You start the match with the perk on cooldown.
No changes to range
Using the ability creates a loud noise notification at a random location within a 0/5/10 meter radius of the range. If an interactive object (pallet, window, hook, gen, other player) is present in that radius, the notification will be centered on that object (randomly chosen if more than 1 object).
Tier 1 of the perk just puts the notification 10 meters away, same as it is now. Higher tiers of the perk search in a short range for an object to attach the alert.
As it stands right now, the perk just makes a noise that could well be in the middle of nothing. With the upgrade, you could hide while intentionally putting an alert on a nearby window vault0
