How to almost always dodge Blight's Lethal Rush attack when there is enough space to turn
- Wait until Blight is 0.3 seconds away from getting into attack range
- Run left or right diagonally into him without hesitation or delay
This strategy works because of 2 reasons. He has a forced extended lunge and his turn rate is absolutely atrocious (no turning addons). Due to this, Blight has a very specific range, which lasts about 0.2 sec, where he can get a guaranteed on hit the survivor with Lethal Rush if the survivor doesn't use the strategy I mentioned. Outside of this range, the survivor can easily dodge or he is outside of attack range, so he is forced to wait until he reaches this range to attack. This fact can easily be exploited by running diagonally to his left or right. By running diagonally into him, you exploit 3 things. The most important are the atrocious turn rate and forced extended lunge (the lunge always lasts maximum duration). Blight's turn is extremely slow. He requires time to turn to a direction that can hit the survivor. By running into him, you reduce the time he has to turn from say 0.3 sec to 0.1 sec due to the forced extended lunge. It becomes mechanically impossible for the Blight to turn fast enough to land a hit. I've tested a maximum sensitivity mouse combined with holding strafe and it is simply impossible. Additionally, the closer you are to the killer, the sharper your turns are from the killer's perspective, which forces an even greater turn from Blight. Finally, he can only run forward while Rushing, so once you are too close to him, there's nothing he can do to get back into range. It is very important to use this strategy without hesitation or delay so the killer has 0 time to react.

You can say attack earlier but the attack would have been out of range if the survivor had just kept running forward.
Another method to dodge Blight's Lethal Rush is to pretend to go in 1 direction then instantly go the opposite direction. This works because if Blight reacts to the first direction, he usually won't be able to turn and/or react fast enough to hit the survivor when they turn back to the other direction.
