6 - I'm fine with this
Not my top pick, but I think FNAF is decent as a horror franchise and it could make for some cool gameplay.

1 - I feel nothing but pain and hatred
I hate FNAF with a passion, for multiple reasons, and although it wouldn't be near enough to make me quit, it would definitely effect my experience.

4 - Eh
Who cares, I just want a fun killer power and decent perks.

3 - Not mad just disappointed
I wouldn't like this at all. In my personal opinion fnaf doesn't fit with the aesthetic of dbd. I wasn't very happy with the demigorgon either but I guess what's done is done. It wouldn't be terrible and I guess I would accept it but there are so many more awesome killer ideas that deserve a place in dbd more.

This is for several reasons.
-The dbd playerbase would be messed up.*
-Fnaf is famous for jumpscares. It's kinds hard to fit that in a 3rd person survivor POV.
-Kinda hard to come up with a map. Of course, that's coming from someone who hasn't played the game.
-I don't like Fnaf.
*by messed up, I don't mean bringing in the Fnaf fanbase. After all, the Stranger Things chapter didn't bring in a lot of...the Stranger Things fanbase. (It's bad) No, my point is a LOT of players will be upset. A lot of younger people play Fnaf. We're talking like 12-14 year olds. That's not a bad thing, it's just that those people are less likely to play dbd thus the payoff is minimal. So you end up with a lot of people who are unhappy about the new licensed killer, as usual. Although this time, they'll likely be the majority.

5 - Okay I guess
I wouldn't jump for joy if he was added, but I wouldn't go on a madness induced rampage either.
With Help Wanted, Scott seems to be going in a more mature direction for the series. Give him time to do so, then we can bring this up again. Until then, I'm just tired of seeing this topic and want it to die.
Do I want him? Down the road, maybe, but not right now. Not when there are much bigger and more important names that are still absent from the roster.

I like that this poll option perfectly expresses my thoughts and feelings on the possibility.
Undoubtedly would be one of, if not the worst choice to be added as far as licenses go, I don't buy into the fnaf fad / trend, I think it's a decent story on it's own independent from Dead By Daylight but I'm not a fan of the gameplay it offers nor of the idea of actually having any of those characters implemented into Dead By Daylight's gameplay.
I maintain that Fnaf is just a higher quality Creepypasta. As it stands- easily spread "horror" stories (creepypastas) through the internet like Jeff the Killer, Slenderman, Sonic.EXE, etc. are all a joke and these spawns of Internet Culture do not match or fit the tone of Dead By Daylight in any way. Dead By Daylight being more of a tribute to the original slashers that grew in popularity throughout the 60's up to the late 90's, it's only right about now 20 years later that interest seems to have been revived in this sub-genre and Dead By Daylight is a contributing factor to that.
I understand that Dead By Daylight is looking to eventually branch out beyond these roots, I am more than well aware of the fact. However, considering the distinct lack of immensely popular characters and vastly more appealing alternatives like Jason Voorhees, The Xenomorph, Pennywise, Candyman, Pinhead, The Predator, Chucky, and even lesser considered characters like The Thing, The T-1000 Terminator, or The Miner from My Bloody Valentine, I can't see myself ever accepting the possibility of Fnaf until a decent chunk of these characters have made it in.
People continue to say that "eventually we'll run out of those cool licensed characters" but think about it, Dead By Daylight only releases some 4 chapters a year. The characters I listed alone by themselves would account for more than 2 years worth of content by themselves, and this is not mentioning the fact that BHVR releases their own original characters and concepts as well and they do a hell of a job of it. More often than not they release more original chapters than licensed chapters, so the list I provided could honestly easily be stretched to well over 4 years of content if they released just two original chapters every year. If even that, because we know for a fact that BHVR has no qualms about releasing original chapters back-to-back-to-back-to-back (chapters 8-11 were all original chapters [Curtain Call, Shattered Bloodline, Darkness Among Us, Demise of the Faithful]).
You think that far into the future, are we all still going to be playing Dead By Daylight in four years? I mean maybe, there's a part of me that kind of likes to think so, all kinds of gaming communities have the potential to last for incredible amounts of time and still be going strong- League, TF2, literally Left 4 Dead 2 is getting a brand new major expansion after 10 years. So it's entirely possible. But then again, if that's the case there's no need for a character like Springtrap until well beyond into the future.
At which point in time, maybe I will have changed my mind- until then, no.
I do really like this answer though. I can respect this opinion ^
It's entirely possible that my mind will be changed much sooner than I expect, only time will tell.

7 - Fairly happy to see
I’m quite happy with a majority of licenses they could grab, Springtrap being no exception. I think if he was added he could bring something really unique, plus, I’m kind of tired of the human killers again. Could use a unique change up again like a robotic killer.
The only time I think I would ever get to a “1” level is if it was Jeepers Creepers. Now THAT would make me outright quit the game.

7 - Fairly happy to see
One of the most notable horror franchises of the past decade, regardless of the quality of the games (all mediocre except for Pizza Sim, which is actually pretty enjoyable), and a design I personally enjoy. I'd rather see other classic characters first, but seeing Springtrap would make some of my mates buy the game, which would make me happy since I'd now have more people to play with

2 - Not happy at all
Why would it make you quit the game?

I REFUSE to support anything involving a real life pedo.

3 - Not mad just disappointed
Freddy's in the game, too late for that excuse.

10 - My screams of hype have broken the sound barrier
Freddy isn't a real life pedo, and no one (to my knowledge) from the production is. The owners of Jeepers Creepers is a pedo, so if they get him they support a pedo.
Freddy didn't contribute money to a pedo, Jeepers Creepers will.

oh
my apologies then

2 - Not happy at all
I watched the movies as a Kid. I was scaref af first watching the first movie and I was really intrigued by the creeper.
After many years I rewatched it in combination with part 2. There are some rather sickening little things you notice when you have that background information about the man responsible for the movies.

7 - Fairly happy to see
Thank you, I appreciate that you explained that so well. :)

I should be more upset at the thought of Michael Myers and FNAF characters shaking hands. I just don't care anymore.

I'd rather have Springtrap over many other suggested killers.

10 - My screams of hype have broken the sound barrier
A Springtrap/FNAF chapter is my most wanted chapter, second being a Bioshock chapter with a Big Daddy as the killer.
I personally believe that Springtrap would fit easily into Dead by Daylight and they could do so many interesting things with him.
He is a sick and twisted child murderer turned reanimated corpse within a spring-lock suit. I think it would make sense if the Entity claimed him.

4 - Eh
The Mori could be very unique, but a jumpscare bunny doesn't really appeal to me that much.
We already have an Elephant and a bunch of bunny outfits already.
