How do you handle this?
I‘m a rank 6 Killer main (billy) and I consider myself pretty good, at least in my rank. I just had a game where all 4 survivors escaped and I didnt expect this, since something like this didnt happen for a long time. I usually 3k or get at least 2 kills. How do you handle 4 survivors escaping? Did I do something wrong or was it just bad luck? It was also swf.

There are some games at high ranks where you just can't win as killer (unless you're omniscient, which nobody is). It happens to the best.
I wouldn't recommend avoiding SWF, just note that they'll call out if you're camping and gen rush you, but otherwise they will try to save their friends.
Normally I'm barely paying attention. If they all leave before I can sacrifice, well, that's their loss.

I handle it by pressing that little button in the bottom right-hand side of the screen that says "Ready".
It's a game and sometimes it doesn't go your way. No need to lose any sleep over it.

so you lost and are wondering why you lost. Most likely bad decision making during the match. Also remember not all games aren't going to be 2ks to 4ks.

We all have off days where we experience a few or possibly a mini streak of less than par matches.
Only one match, tho.
It’s good to be concerned, but keep calm.
If it begins happening more frequently, like 5-10+ consecutive matches or 60% - 70% or more of your matches, then you could give things a deeper look.
Could’ve jus been a SWF team that happened to get the better of you that time. idk tho.

I mean, you can accept that the other side played better.
Or, you blame it on bad luck or SWF.

Only you know why.
We weren’t there.

It happens sometimes that you're going to lose a match, I just accept that the other players were better/made less mistakes and move on to the next match.

Alright thanks guys, I was just surprised that after all these hours I played I can still get my ass whooped that hard lmao. But I guess you can always improve and make mistakes.

I don't expect to get any kills in any trial. Playing killer isn't like playing in a SWF group, there's nothing you can do to guarantee a kill except bubba facecamp, and anyone that does that shouldn't even be playing the game for a multitude of reasons, chiefly that your goal is to kill everyone.
You've just got to accept that sometimes, nothing can be done. You get outplayed. More often, you get outperked or out-hold-W'd. You've just got to accept that it's not always reasonable to expect even 1 kill, no matter how good you are.

You win some, you lose some. Maybe you didn´t perform as well as you could have, maybe the Survivors were just really good.
Bear in mind that the higher you move in the skill brackets (can be loosely tied to ranks) the more the balance shifts in favor of survivors.
Whereas you can usually afford to play generously against inexperienced survivors and still come out on top this doesn´t hold true against good players. You may need to adjust your playstyle accordingly, but be prepared for salt. There´s a certain kind of Survivor mains that will try to shame you into playing intentionally bad but laugh at you if you try to apply their own logic to them.
So many factors tie into this, it´s hard to point out a specific misplay sometimes.
And there´s map rng which can screw over Survivors and Killers alike.

Sometimes you lose dude.
I respect your positive attitude expecting 4ks each game. I myself go into each match expecting 4ks.
Although it is unreasonable to believe you will never lose. Take the L, send some GGs and go get the slaughter the next poor bastards.
