Title, which character looks the best with base outfit?
- No Rift cosmetics
- No Legacy cosmetics
- No Prestige cosmetics
- No Event cosmetics
- No Store cosmetics
- No DLC cosmetics
- Not even "You bought this character as DLC instead of in the Store!" cosmetics.
You can name one as the absolute master of base cosmetics, or you can name one as the master of base Survivor outfits & one as master of base Killer outfits.
I gotta go with Ace Visconti & Herman "The Doctor" Carter, with Herman over Ace.

Dwight because he's one of the only survs to have an animated part (his tie) with his base outfit.
Legion since you can chose between two genders.

I know you said one of the only, meaning not the only one. However, Meg's pigtails. Quentin's necklace. Tapp's badge. Kate's hair, necklace shirt, and bracelet. Adam's coat. Jeff's hair and handcuff. Nancy's hair and necklace. Yui's hair, necklace, and jacket. Zarina's hair and scarf. I'm sure there's some I missed. My point being quite a lot of them have animations on their base outfit lol

As much as I'm a biased Min and Legion player. Honestly if the relaxed bun was Min default hair I would have picked her. I really dislike her coconut hair bob I hope when they do the character model updates it gets improved
I'm also taking licensed characters out of the equation. (Sorry Amanda it would have been you otherwise)
Survivor: Yui- Interesting bike aesthetic absolutely loves her jacket. Honestly I really like the goggles that she wears and I love her long hair.
Killer: Deathslinger- The Western aesthetic is just so good. They also managed to give him this dried up look without making it look completely is zombified or inhuman which I like as well. I do really like how crude the default Redeemer looks you could tell it's a improvised weapon that was made back then because it doesn't look too clean or efficient

For me its clown, I just love the Tailcoat design and how it moves around I find that neat touch. The Knife is really cool I absolutely love the design of the blade, and the head although needs some work still holds up.

Caleb Quinn - The Deathslinger
his base cosmetics easily outshine all the others he has imo (well, besides recolours ofc. but those arent really a different cosmetic if you ask me...) and he is the only killer i actually run around in his default clothing.

Leatherface (or any of the licensed killers really).
For in-house killers I like Nurse's default most, though she also has excellent alternative cosmetics.
Felix or Ash on the survivor end of things.

I dunno, I always loved that gigantic pyramid head on his...head.

Mikey for killer and overall.
Jake for survivor. I would've said Ash but really Ash p3 feels more Ash than his base cosmetic - his p3 is also my favorite overall.

Also, weird how me and OP have the exact same opinion on base cosmetics ('Bout Ace being 2nd, but best survivor, and Doctor being best in general)

I like Yui's hair too except the quality on it seems so so bad. It looks like pieces of hay or noodles. For some reason it just looks so downgraded in quality when compared to the other hairstyles. It also has a permanent curve on the end for some reason and that bothers my OCD.
