Wouldn't wglf pickup buff make sense to work on oneself as well?

Depending on how strong it is that is. See a lot of synergy with it already, and other healing perks, but having it work on oneself as well makes sense for running perks like no mither/unbreakable and anti slug builds. No mither already being a perk that comes with David, making him the anti slug king.

Like, if it's a 30% or higher buff to dying state heal recovery speed i would question it being added to oneself, but if it was say 25% that would synergize so well with so many builds out there.

Unbreakable already has that bro, if you stacked that with what you are saying it would be total bs

You already have Unbreakable for Recovery Speedup. Lets say WGLF is 25%, this stacked with Unbreakable would be too much.

Also, WGLF is an altrustic Perk, so it should not benefit that much for yourself (except for the Double BPs of course).

Not to be mean but Unbreakable and now Soul Guard are plenty strong without any additional synergy or buffs. They're both in the top 15 survivor meta for a reason.

No Mither needs a full out rework or a buff like only breaking you after you are unhooked for the first time (Also giving the killer a chance at assuming you might be a Deliverance user). That's a different issue altogether as in it's current form no self-respecting killer is leaving an obvious No Mither user on the floor ever... even if he has to eat a DS.

Not really. Unbreakable is single use, and a majority of its strength comes from Its pickup speed. This is just it's pickup speed (lower infact) and works on other players (who've likely already been slugged for a while.) If anything it only becomes strong when paired in a build, but the more perks your revolving around this is the less exhaustion and second chance perks, less slots for adrenaline, bt, deliverance, Ds, etc.

That's two perks out of a build though. That's one less slot for adrenaline or bt, Ds or deliverance etc etc.

No. If it did then we would see some meta builds revolving around healing yourself on the ground as fast as possible for nasty easy saves or possible flip-floppery, basically reducing the amount you can travel for hooking and stacked with anti-hook offerings it would just be a different form of sabotage meta no ty.
