So I just decided to look at the next update coming out
I am not happy tbh. I have a few reasons:
1. Balance
2. Less variety
3. The hypocrisy
1. Now, i understand that there are things that need to be nerfed and changed. But there is a big balance difference here between the 2 sides. I saw that multiple killer skills got changed. Most of these unused perks got a buff that will make 4 more people use them, while nerfing the killers best gen defense perk and a niche slowdown perk that was good on certain killers. On the other hand: survivors got all slight to decent buffs w/o any real nerfs coming their way.
2. I didn't mention this above, but PH is getting their rework now. As shown with the last multippe killer reworks, im already casting my doubt that they will give something like a .5 second less cooldown for using the 2nd ability and have a 2 second cancelation animation.
The worst part about it though is the fact that PH probably won't be a decent mid-high tier killer. He will fall out of the high tier play, which means more spirits and Freddie's to deal with.
3. I will say, I can understand the point of what they are doing to pop. It can be a perk that you can wait to use while you do another task. But then what about DS? Quite a few survivors abuse it to keep on gens until it runs out, or go for super risky saves, or hop into lockers to be invincible. And i can guarantee that DS is more used. I will see around 2-3 DS users on average when playing on either side.
Is this the worst update? Far from it. But it still sucka that they keep making these updates and don't. Balance it well. While multiple killers who desperately need reworks wait and the MANY bugs stay in the game, PH and POP will be nerfed instead.
