Freddy and his magic arm.
Anyone else having trouble with Freddy and his arm when putting down pallets? Has been happening a few times now, it gets stuck and spawning pallets is slow, it's driving me a little crazy.

Is this for Dream Pallets? I never use those addons on the already few Nightmare games I pilot so I couldn't confirm this bug or not. I haven't had any issues with Dream Snares though or general freddy gameplay since this patch
I thought this was from the survivor perspective where Freddy's magical claws reach through time and space to spank you - because his short model it's really funky how long his lunge is visually.

You mean Freddy is having issues spawning in dream pallets? I wasn't aware, but I don't really play Freddy that much these days. What exactly is the issue, is the animation being drawn out too long or is it freezing completely like a lagging hook/unhook?

That looks extremely comical haha man, I just remembered the old cockroach glue trap scene in one of the Nightmare on Elm Streets. Those movies are campy as hell today but were pretty spooky when we were young

I'll try to test it sometime and get back to you; I hardly play Fredster.
If it's a consistent issue though you should probably clip it and submit a bug report; I've never had problems placing pallets very quickly with him in the past and I can't think they'd shadow nerf his dream pallets.

Could be an unintentional bug from the spaghetti code again... I mean something somehow broke Hooking for a lot of killers and DS stun times for certain killers just before this latest Hotfix came through

Yea, that's why I think OP should submit a report if they haven't already; the sooner the devs know about the bugs, the sooner they get fixed.

There's also a significant lag spike when Freddy hits a survivor and they go into dream state. The game freezes for like 2 seconds.

Yes it's with pallets, something I prefer to use but his arm gets stuck mid way!

Yes it's with pallets, it freezes/lags mid way, sort of stays stiff for a bit (gigity) then goes back to normal, I should have a try with snares - though I am on a killer hiatus and maybe the game hiatus atm! lol

So I gave it a try: all three of his add-ons that allow Pallets instead of snares.
The Prototype Claws had a little delay once or twice but it was so negligible I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been looking for it. I could still fully place pallets mid-chase at full speed without much of a worry each time it happened, and of the like 11 or so pallets I placed it only happened once or twice.
The common and rare versions I didn't notice any issues with. The delay between pushing the button and setting the pallet was actually super smooth - something I'm not that used to in console DbD.
All this said, I am on PS4. Maybe it's an issue on another platform, but for me I didn't have any real problems.

Everything about Freddy is laggy unfortunately. Last game I played against him, he wouldn't stop phasing while I was awake. He was literally just popping in and out of reality. Also same game I watched him hit someone from no joke, 30yds away.
But I have seen the glitch you are talking about. He just holds his hand up like he is about to cast a spell or something. For the longest time I just thought it was his normal idle animation.
Probably won't be fixed for awhile. : (
