Losing will to kill
I think I've honestly just gotten to the point where I give up facing SWF groups. Every time I see 4 survivors come into the pre-game lobby at the same time I just leave and search for a new match.
The reason? Well, it's not fun to face SWF groups. Games against them just feel too stressful to even enjoy. I've tried facing them in different ways, but nothing seems to work against good teams. I'm honestly happy that undying+ruin+technician is a thing now because at least that does something to them. Sadly I don't have them. ;-;

I'm sorry to hear that you're not having a great time. Hopefully we get a good MMR system soon

Oh yea, forgot to mention... Recently got into red ranks..

Nothing will kill the fun of this game like getting into the reds. Its a sweaty competitive toxic cry baby quagmire. I'm happy to have toppled back down to the low purples, Its not that hard to stay in the reds but its definitely not as fun to play up there.

I mean... getting beaten by a SWF is an opportunity to learn a thing or two - you can think about what mistakes you've made and how you can improve.
You won't learn anything new by stomping default megs in solo queues.

Yea, no. Trust me I've tried to play around it. But against a solid swf team there is literally nothing you can do unless you run the full meta build. Then you might have a chance, but it's just too much stress to work with...

Using basic reading comprehension I was able to glean that not once did he ask about how to deal with SWF, simply that they weren't fun. And I agree, i have 4k'd sweaty swf because they get greedy and even then it doesnt feel good. Its like getting a mole removed, your glad its done but it shouldn't have been there in the first place so it was essentially just a bunch of extra stress just to return to normal.

Congrats on your basic reading comprehension skills!
Maybe you could use your basic logical thinking skills now, and understand that my point was that if he learns to deal with SWF, then he will not have to dodge them that often and actually may be able to beat them and have some fun. Cheers.

I understand. But the "sweaty" SWFs are a very big minority. If you're on PC, you can usually check the number of hours the survivors have. If they have 1,5k hours on average (or much more hours than you have anyway), then I fully understand if you wanted to dodge that. If not, then I would take my chances and try to beat them

=( you still missed the point, where I said clearly even winning vs them isn't fun, but thanks for congratulating me on my reading comprehension skills, one day maybe even you will have them too!

And you miss the point that if you get better, you will beat SWFs more easily and then you can "have fun". Reading comprehension gives nothing if you can't apply logic :(
And watch out - big shocker incoming - having fun is SUBJECTIVE. Some people lose and still have fun. Some people win and don't have fun. Alright, buddy?

So you are basically new to the game and already complaining about SWFs?
btw. joining at the same time does not mean it is an SWF. At least not since Dedicated Servers are live.

I think you mean Tinkerer's instead of Technician and that is arguably FAR stronger against uncoordinated teams or solos - a good team of SWFs will sus out every single totem and pressure them all making you a 2 perk dandy for the rest of the match. It's still slowdown but not really having much effect on good SWFs
Onto the original point - Just approach the match with a far more carefree attitude and don't care about the number of kills but try to maximize your scoring events (even if it's just hits) and mindgames during chases. You'll see significant improvements in your play once you get more flexible on when to break chases and how to zone survivors into other survivors - if a guy seems like a very strong looper then kick a pallet and intentionally go patrolling for someone else until you either find a weak link or inevitably find someone (even that strong looper) out of position. Once again - welcome the challenge rather than laying down in the fetal position when its not 4 potatos running in straight lines and taking 10+ mins to do gens... because you have to admit you get those matches too even in red ranks.

Decent SWF's knows what they're doing, they're not going to walk to dead zones like megheads, they will always run to tiles and play the most aggressive as possible. Fun is subjective, my definition of fun is: Beating good survivors with my own skill and being able to pull good chases and say for myself "that match I had pretty good chases, those hatchets I landed were amazing".
Seriously, I don't even care about ranks anymore. The fact that you adressed this in your post just make me think you have like 200 hours of game.
You're making bad decisions if you're having such hard against them. I won't say much because I don't know how you play, how much hours you have and what Killer/perks you use, but if you keep dodging you will never improve, just go on and try to surpass your obstacles.

I think that you are just a bit inexperienced and you did say that you just transitioned into the red ranks, so it might be much more difficult for you to actually get kills. Unless the survivors are all godlike, you should at least be able to get 2 kills which is great for a SWF group. Maybe record your games and have people review them. I have been where you are at and I think you just need to sharpen your skills a little bit, try slugging and mindgaming at loops to shorten chases. Also, keep in mind that SWF groups can communicate information especially with object of obsession, as well as misinformation.

Still unable to read, not worth my time so im done replying to you, should have picked up on the fact that literally noone else was replying to you.
I like this advice, breaking chases vs survivors that felt unwinnable really helped me a ton originally. They tend to send their best looper to get your attention, if you ignore their bright nea and go for their objective doers it makes it a bit less frustrating

Well, you were the one replying to me. You are not very bright, are you?
Try to put your gray cells to work sometime, will you? Logic is important, trust me.

Yes I was rank 1 killer but you get to a point were it's just to stressful. Now almost only playing survivor it's a lot more fun, unless teammates DC early. But in the long run playing killer is not worth it.
1 -
No, not necessarily new. I have around 380 hours into the game. I'd say half into survivor, half into killer.

I respect that, I like to have a chill time when playing. I play ghostface and just tbag the the entire time im moving. I play for fun, not for glory. Whenever I have a fun match with survivors I feel play like me I let one of them escape and I'll mess around for the most part. Don't know how that got me into red ranks to be honest, but it did and the swf's there are anal...

Typically when faced against swf's this is what I did, but probably not well enough I guess. Eh, after reading more comments I'm seeing more of people saying to go in carefree, which is what I do for the most part, but I guess ill just purposefully derank to get into more relaxed, and in my opinion, more fun lobbies.
