Dragon's Grip + Surge + Surveillance + Your Choice or Pop, an underrated combination of perks

This is such a hidden gem of a perk combo. As a rank 1 killer, this combination of perks can really stall survivor progress in a lot of games I've played.

Let me explain why:

Dragon's Grip gives you the advantage of being able to obviously put survivors into the exposed state as well as revealing their location when they touch a generator in the 30 second time window. Good survivors will take notice of this perk.

Now, introduce Surge. Down the first survivor and get those generators around you to start regressing. Get the bonus information benefit of Surveillance showing the generators that are currently regressing. If survivors are not working on those generators, then they are unsure if those generators were kicked with Dragon's Grip. If a survivor is still working on a generator, go over and apply Pop to the highlighted generator. Now, the generator loses 25% from pop, and the survivor isn't sure if Dragon's Grip is applied to it as well, so 30 seconds elapses if the survivor does not want to get affected by the Exposed status effect.

If Surveillance informs you of a generator being worked on (or even an un-highlighted generator with some progress made on it), then go over and kick it. Regardless of if Dragon's grip is active or not, the survivor doesn't know this and will most likely leave the generator to regress for the 30 seconds. If they're willing to risk it and the generator has Dragon's Grip applied, then you get their location + surveillance aura. If the generator doesn't have Dragon's Grip applied, then you still get the benefit of surveillance.

I've found it pretty terrible because it goes on cooldown even if it never gets triggered. Probably the best use I got out of it so far was camping a gen as wraith.

Assuming your typical gameplay loop of down someone-->hook them--> pop gen --> move off to do something else I would say that you would get more exposed procs out of make your choice. Cause that's a 100% chance to proc. Dragon's grip is RNG if someone touches it or not.

I've tried it on killers like Wraith and it's not that bad once you're okay with having no chase perks like Bamboozle, Enduring or "god pallet breaking" Brutal Strength to help you out. It's unfortunately limited by having a more conditional Expose Perk than MYC or even DH and to be on a killer that M1s for a down due to Surge's basic attack requirement if you want full value from it so a full stacked slowdown build with okay momentum (And Myers+Ghostface already have their own expose mechanics so Dragon's grip has slightly less value)

Current surge holds it back a little bit with it's plethora of conditions like it doesn't apply at all to already regressing generators, basic attacks, doesn't actually count as a real explosion on the generator (3s pause in progression even forcing survivors to let go and activate Deadman's switch), has a limiting range on where you down someone AND a cooldown.

The first part is currently being addressed on the PTB 4.3 so you might see an increase in power as Surge will go up a bit as the regression will apply to already regressing generators from Ruin, Pop or normal kicked gens though.

Dragon's grip + Trail of torment (future patch) = crying SWF mode = fun for all killers 🤗

But i think like a survivor, i play random and stealth so..
