People be sleeping on Dragon's Grip
Everyone was like "HOLY ######### THATS GOOD" when it came out on the ptb yet I haven't seen a single killer use it (except for level 1 blights) mix this bad boy with pop and 2 things can happen when you kick a gen:
A. No one touches the gen which means no one gets exposed which means that it's still regressing, basically surveillance
B. They do touch the gen which means they're exposed for 60 SECONDS. god help them if you're playing doc or freddy or any one with tracking abilities or high mobility.
so they either watch a gen get regressed by pop and sit 30 seconds waiting for dragon's grip to wear off or touch the gen and get exposed, it's a win-win scenario either way.
ofc this doesn't mean the perk is SS tier, i'm just saying ppl should try it, and the cooldown may seem lengthy but it's not so bad for me

It’s really going to be good when paired with the new Trail of Torment and Pop.

People haven't been using it because you can't kick gens with Ruin.
That's pretty much the long and short. Nearly every Blight has Ruin/Undying, so nearly every Blight doesn't have Dragons Grip. Same goes for other killers: if they unlock Dragons Grip, they also probably have Undying... So why not slap on Ruin as well?

Unfortunately you have to choose between Ruin + Undying or Dragon's Grip since they don't combo. And everyone decided Undying was better. If they nerf Undying, we may see it come into the meta. Until then, probably not.

its honestly more of a preference, Pop + dragon’s or Undying + ruin, or if you’re feeling spicy run all 4 together

Right, both are good combos. My guess is people like myself have gotten tired of Pop after so long and want to get away from it.
Also, people have long been wary of Hex builds because of their risk. Undying mitigates the risk so people can finally experiment with totem builds with some peace of mind.
