Why does someone dying in an swf cause so much toxicity

I have around 16 days played and having been in red rank killer for a while I can safely say at red rank most of the players are in swf. Every match if I get a sacrifice (or mori since i play executioner) i get spammed with either messages saying offensive random junk or a bunch of party invites. I get it feels annoying when you lose a ten to twenty minute match in something like dbd but come on, does it really warrant such toxicity such as being offensive to the killer? I have a example of being insulted for getting a kill on someone. my gamerpic on xbox set to a picture of me and I had got a message saying i camped (walk away from hook a lot to keep gen pressure down so I had'nt) then he would ask why i look like a f*****.

Welcome to DBD, where many players consider everything the opponent does as a toxic act!

Fortunately there are a bunch of nice people, too. BM and toxicity, especially from SWF groups, is something you will have to grow accustomed to if you want to continue playing.

That's easy, bhvr holds the survivors hand so much that they feel entitled to an escape. They never expect to lose, so when it happens, it causes salt.

Report the message and let them enjoy the ban. I have my messages set to friends only and invites too. If you can get someone on death hook chances are someone coming to take over the hook switch.

If a killer beats me, I'm fine with it, it's when a killer doesn't give me a chance to move or do anything at all that I get annoyed, it's worse when I have teammates that do absolutely nothing in the match, sandbag me and yet somehow still survive. while I'm trying to fix gens help others out and keep people alive and I get targeted and die while those others don't.

That's because SWF players want to dunk on the killer and feel superior, whenever you nail them for being cocky or plan for their shenanigans, they get upset that they had every advantage and still died.

It's the same thing when it comes to killers who hard slug, camp and bring every exposed/mori item they can. You run them in circles and they get red in the face end game.

Dead by Daylight has a dichotomous community: Group A just wants the fun and thrill of chasing/being chased; Group B just wants to have a complete blowout and bask in it.

    Wait...

You’re claiming you have only played 16 days and already reached red ranks as killer?!

    You must be joking!

But to answer your question. Some SWF teams are very entitled. They believe every match should result in themselves and their friends always escaping. And if anyone dies it’s because (in their view) the killer was toxic and cheating.

So they then feel validated in sending such awful messages.

Not every player is horrible like this mind you.

Just report those players to Xbox. There should be some sort of option to highlight the offending messages and select a report option.

Competitive SWF is so easy and they are so used to winning every game that they act toxic whenever they lose.

Its pretty obvious just by looking at the builds in end game if they are competitive(Or at least trying to be) SWF as they all will usually have DS/Unbreakable/Sprint Burst or Dead Hard and at least 2 of them will have BT who are the designated Saviors.

They aren't as uncommon as people think as according to the VERY OLD statistics(So it could be higher or low we don't know) SWF groups make up ~47% of the game's total player base so running into a SWF group of at least 2 or more will happen about every ~75% or more of games you play as killer.
