Pig buff idea

The pig(lets play a game)
Basic info:
- pig size isnt big.
- plays a lot of mindgames.
- the reverse beartraps slow down the game or kill people.
- survivor shouldnt activate gens, if a teammate wears a reverse beartrap.
- jumpscares survivors.
- can do a lot of tactics.
Current status:
- survivors can see and hear the pig fast.
- they didnt get jumpscared.
- they do gens and dont care about the reverse beartraps, because the timer is to high.
- sprintboost counterd pig ambush.
- the pig doesnt see the reverse beartrap timer, but the survivor see it.
- the pig is rly slow, when she crouch.
- she dont have "more skill = more profit" addons.
- ultra rare addons arent so good.
Buff idea:
basic:
- 100% movement speed.
- you can charge a normal lunge (dash lunge).
- when you charge a lunge you have 95% movement speed.
- dash lunge movement speed is 150% for 4 seconds.
- charge time is 1,5 seconds.
- when you use a dash lunge, you can jump over pallets.
- dash lunge + space = jump over pallets with 190% movement speed for 0,5 seconds.
- pallet jumps doenst interrupt your dash lunge
- if you fail a pallet jump you are stuned for 3 seconds.
ambush:
- less preparation time.
- sound should only trigger, if you hit the survivor.
- crouch movement speed is 125%.
- if you hold your attack button while crouching, then you use a dash lunge
reverse beartraps:
- timer = 2 minutes.
- if a others survivor is near the timer gets 0,5 seconds faster.
- timer speed = 1 seconds + 0,5 seconds * number of survivors.
- timer start when a generator is completed(survivor who completed the generator get -points).
if the timer is active when a generator is completed,the survivor will die instant(survivor who completed the
generator get - points).if you wear a reverse beartrap your movement speed is by 110%.
- survivor doesnt see the timer, but the pig can see it.
survivor can still hear the sound from the beartraps.
2 new ultra rare addons
1. Death trigger: Timer start when a generator is completed by only 1 random survivor with a reverse beartrap. The timer is by 1 minutes and the survivor can not take off the bear trap with saw boxes. The survivor with the active reverse beartrap must kill the survivor, who actived the generator. The others survivor can kill this survivor, too. And if this survivor get killed, the survivor with the active reverse beartrap can take it off. 2. Triggered timer: The sound from the timer goes crazy, if the reverse beartrap is active. Example: The survivor will die in 15 seconds, but the timer sound is by 1,3 minutes.

I would definitely agree that the Pig needs a buff, and I think you have a few good suggestions, but all of your suggestions together would be a bit too much, I think.
Here are the ones that have the most merit, I think:
1) Her ambush lunge attack should allow her to jump over a pallet that has been downed. If the pallet is turned over during her travel time through that area, she would be stunned as normal.
2) The sound for her ambush should trigger as soon as she starts the lunge (instead of as soon as she starts charging it up, as it is now).
3) Survivors should not see RBT timer, but the Pig should. Survivors should still know when the trap triggers and hear beeping that increases in frequency the less time they have remaining on the trap.
4) I agree with increasing crouch movement speed, but only from 90% (as it is now) to 100%....125% crouch movement speed would be ridiculous. That's faster than normal killer speed.The rest of it I don't think would fit, especially your suggestions for the ultra rare addons...I'm not sure I fully understand what you are proposing with those, but survivors being able to kill other survivors seems to not fit with the lore, and I'm not sure why completing a generator would be reason to kill another survivor...I also don't think it should cause them to lose points when they finish one and someone has a RBT.
An addon that makes the sound on the reverse beartrap timer go crazy as if they only have a few seconds left when they actually have more time than that sounds like fun, though, and in the spirit of a horror game

Yeah it's why I main Nurse and Hag. Btw you got some advice for learning Billy? I used to be godly with him but I lost a lot of my skill ever since I mained Hag and Nurse. I really want to become a good Billy again.

I just play Pig(love her), Myers,Doctor and Trapper.
But i think Tru3talent can give you tips with his videos.

I have all DLC.
And i hate it.
It feels like Pay to lose.
But the pig makes fun.
But her ability his weak.
The RNG is a frustrating thing in DbD.
But it feels rly good when someone dies on the traps.
She is a solid killer, but she has the same problems.
Looping, gen rush, etc....
And yes rly many survivors can bully you.
My trap placement with the trapper is sometimes weird.
But when a tea-bagger with a clicky clicky flashlight run into a trap, its a wonderful feeling.0 -
Most of what true used to use with the lunge dosent work anymore as the minute a survivour hears the ambush noise or sees you crouch they just run straight away. Pig has really no snowball potential which is that heart of her problem. Her bear traps is widely accpeted to have too long a timer and are only really viable with tampered timer and crate of gears.ShyN3ko said:@Poweas schrieb:

Even then rng can screw you with the first box. Definatly reduce the timer to tampered timer level by default but reduce tampered timer reduction to 15 seconds instead of 30 as a ttap going off in a 1 minute 45 seconds with tampered timer is more reasonable then 1 minute 30 seconds. Make it so you need to get two keys instead of one and have the trap timer begin after being placed on the head for 1 minute.
I agree with the above suggestion of making her capable of hoping over pallets with the dash attack. Not sure how she would be able to deal with sirvivours who just leave the loop tho.0 -

But her base movement speed is 100% and crouching movement speed is 125%.

I stopped at 100% move speed.....HAAAAAAAAAAAAIL NO!
Then I stopped and kept reading. 125% movespeed while crouched......
As attractive as that sounds, she can't see very well while crouched.... I don't want that vision to be my main mobility function, its cancer.
I do like the idea of being able to jump over pallets, but I can see this leading to long pallet standoffs and people not dropping them during a loop....which can be bad....
I like the idea of the roar sound only triggering when you hit a survivor....THATS SCARY, AND THATS WHAT THIS GAME NEEDS!
Killing people who have a beartrap because their team mates did a second gen is a no....
Survivors play against each other too much for this to be fair.
Increasing survivor movement speed while they wear a trap?!?! NOOOOOOOOO 110%? hell no!
Only pig can see timers.... I can agree with that, it would actually give some use to those resources they spent having the helmet beep and lights go off indicating you're almost out of time. Theres no reason for survivors to see this precise timer.Out of all the stuff you mentioned you failed to mention that a simple buff like making rulset no.2 a default part of her kit would be more viable.
She doesn't need changes to her lunge.
Sound queues sure, good idea.
Movement speed while crouching 100%? Sure good idea.
Jigsaw boxes cannot be seen until activated? Good idea.
Failing a Jigsaw box injures the survivor but never downs them? Good idea.Things that could make her borderline op, (Adjusting trap timers)
More jigsaw boxes? Sure. More add ons and status effects for traps? Absolutely. I personally would love a trap that gave the person with the trap on full blind and knockout status. They couldn't have their aura read, and they couldn't read anyone elses auras. Call it the Anesthetic Blindfold.
Or an add on that made your helmets slow the move speed of the person wearing them, making it that much harder to reach the next jigsaw box.
Or an add on that made your helmets scream within range of other survivors, say 10 meters if you have the helmet on, it makes you paranoid and scream revealing the aura of you and the survivor near you for 3 seconds. Call it Cathinone Injections add on.

But its only an addon and DbD is/should be a TEAMGAME.
So yes my buffs are little bit to extrem.
And the 110% movement speed for the survivors are broken, but fair i think.
Many survivors hate it, when the killer tunnel persons, when they wear a reverse beartrap.
And i want a better skillfull lunge for her, because killers should be powerfull.
Not braindead powerfull, more like skillfull power.
That mean, when you main the pig you should have the same lvl like the nurse.
Yes i know Nurse is OP, but only when you main her.
And i think every killer should be viable like the nurse, when the player have rly much skill.0 -

What did the gameplay designer thought?Well, to be honest we could say that about A LOT of the killers they've released. Almost all of their killers have already received or still need to receive their reworks/buffs. They release killers at such a weak power level and never quite hit the mark. They're so afraid to release something strong. The worse part is that they still havn't learned from this. Even though they are having to go back and make all of these reworks, they are still releasing new killers in those states to where they will be needing a rework a year from now.

-No screech on Ambush
-Jigsaw Boxes are not visible to the Survivors until the trap is activated.

Just Fix her cam when crouched to start. She shouldn't have her snout in the grass when her avatar's crouched state isn't that low. If she would snake through the grass with that low of a profile it would be one thing, but other wise just makes getting around unnecessary difficult. I can't imagine it would be that hard to change either.

Agree completely.
Not a required change, but not showing the RBT timer to survivors but instead letting Amanda see it would also be a nice touch and add a little psychological terror to boot.
Also, why does her letter reduce her trap numbers? It's good, but not that good that it deserves to have a negative side effect.
