Imagine getting upset for survivors using one of their assigned keys. If the gates are open, end game collapse is on and they will be out anyways.

That's why I don't go to the exit gates anymore if I have clearly no chance of getting someone. I don't need to watch people transforming into small babies as soon as they reach a safe zone, so I rather try to find the hatch and get some extra points.

To me One squat is a quick "thanks" anything more than that is unnecessary and gonna send the impression they're gloating or trying to tilt me. I usually try to not let it bother me but the ones that hang out in the gate usually get a "awww, you needed momma Hag to escort you out, I'm so touched" in post game chat.

My advice, when you give up like that B line for the basement or a corner and stand there facing it. Once they find out they can't taunt you or EGC is almost done they leave. In that time just go afk for a few and grab a drink/snack, use the bathroom, do some cleaning, or tab over to youtube or whatnot to kill some time.

In my opinion core of frustration is lack of skill. You gonna be frustrated more often if you often lose. And when you give up, you just lose intentionally. Why would you give yourself frustration on purpose?

OP is frustrated by bad manners from survivors. And there is two options to have fun in game: A. Become better player; B. Don't take game seriously and goof around if you can't win. Spam your bell as Wraith. Spam chainsaw sound as Hillbilly and try to fly off the cliff. Spam your roar as Pig. Teabag as Ghostface.

Of cource there is very few people who playing dbd for a living and I am not one of them. But I think having every opportunity to improve in game is better in the long run. I also love to meme around when it's not ruining someone's expirience. I agree that this is my personal point of view but I really hate to see people giving up. No matter if it's a survivor suicide on first hook or it's a killer opening gates.

I think you're wrong. Firstly if someone played the game just occasionally, they wouldn't feel the need to come to the forums and seek advice about it.

Secondly, the guy you're replying to was giving OP very sound advice, which if applied translates into real life quite well.

Thirdly you talk about corporate greed and how good this game could* be - the game is pretty good mate. To keep developing it, the company who runs it has to make a decent amount of money. Bhvr have adopted a decent model, where their monetisation is not so aggressive as to drive people away, but are still capable to make more than enough from it.

As a killer, I'm fine with them tea bagging once or twice before leaving, it's a sign of a 'thank you for letting us out', 'Ggs Wp' type thing.

However if they sit there and start running in circles, pointing at me and constantly tea bagging, they're baso saying 'You couldn't catch usss' 'You got outplayed big time :P' type thing.

But overall, I'd rather them tea bag once or twice than just run out, as I feel like they it shows they didn't care that I gave them a free escape, I want to be thanked!

    I have two theories.

    1. They thought you had blood warden and thought you were doing a sneaky play.
    2. A butt dance doesn’t always mean “you suck” it can me “hello” or “thanks” or if it’s at the exit gate it’s “here’s some points for you sir”
