Survivor Concept: Buddy Moore

A quick Survivor Concept I came up with. There's no story yet. I mainly just wanted to share this because of the perks. I personally think they're really clever, but let me know what you think.

SURVIVOR CONCEPT: BUDDY MOORE

Buddy Moore is a reasonable introvert, pleased to share his secrets with his teammates.

His personal perks, Closed Curtains, White Lie and Leave Me Be allow him and his teammates to work faster when alone, trick the Killer and make the most of the situation while under a roof.

Closed Curtains

You prefer to be inside rather than outside.

While inside a building, injured and not in a chase, the following effects happen:

  • Healing performed on you is increased by 50/75/100%.
  • Your aura is revealed to your allies in white.

While inside a building and uninjured, the following effect happens:

  • You gain a 3/4/5% Haste

In outdoors realms, the Haste effect persists for 5 seconds during a chase, or until you leave the building, after which it’s temporarily disabled until you go into another building and the chase stops. In indoors realms, the Haste effect does not persist at all and is completely disabled while in a chase.

“Welcome to my humble abode.” - Buddy Moore

White Lie

When performing a fast vault on a window, the following effect happens:

  • The notification and vaulting sound will be transferred over to a different window within a 16 meter range.
  • White Lie has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

“You better go check that out.” - Buddy Moore

Leave Me Be

Being split up unlocks great potential in the team.

  • While you are alone and not within 16 meters of your Allies, you and your Allies’ action speeds of repairing, healing, unlocking, opening Exit Gates and vaulting are increased by 3/4/5%
  • Allies can only be affected by one Leave Me Be at a time.

"I can do this on my own and you can, too. Trust me." - Buddy Moore

Closed Curtains: I'm torn, personally. Mostly because of the concept of indoor realms in general. You mentioned that the haste effect is disabled instantly when in a chase if you're in an indoor realm, but what about the first effect?

In outdoor maps, though, it seems passable.

White Lie: So basically a Diversion or Red Herring type effect that activates when you vault a window. It would be funny as ######### but I'm not sure if it would be any more effective than humor

Leave Me Be: so this is how the chase jockey helps his team. Jokes aside, it seems okay, and it's smart of you to not allow it to stack because otherwise splitting up to do gens would be hellish for the killer even moreso than usual. The wording of "alone and not within 16 meters of your allies" should probably be replaced with "When further than 16 meters from another survivor"

About Closed Curtains, I actually wasn't sure. I was going to make it so that it does work the same way as outdoors realms, but that would make it overpowered. Perhaps turn off the white Aura-reading effect but still make it work in indoors maps? After all, it's not always you get an indoor map, and not every map has a house (that isn't the shack).

And for example, on Midwich, this perk wouldn't work if you're outside, in the middle, or at the Exit Gates, but it would still be counted as an "indoors" map.
