Is OoO use on the rise?
Whether it's a solo player or the more common 2-3 stack, I'm encountering OoO fairly often lately. It's becoming common, actually. I'm having to dust off stealth killers to not have my every movement telegraphed to the other players.
60% of my games today featured at least one OoO.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yupp. Faced multiple OoO-teams today. Hopefully more people start using that perk. Makes it so much easier for me to get my first hook.

It is, I´m afraid only now more people have realised how insanely OP it is.
I´ve encountered numerous teams over the course of the last two weeks that had 2 OoO users to literally always be able to call out info about the Killer to the team. It´s disgusting and Kills all the fun, especially on Myers and Trapper.

It is only a problem when it is being used and abused by a SWF. Me personally, as I play Mikey, I love running into it. It is like giving me a 5th Perk.

Must be a PC upward trend
Haven’t encountered OoO in at least the last 300+ console matches

If you find it common, run blindness perks or add ons.

I've noticed this too. I asked around to see if any content creators recently made an OoO guide, but I didn't find anything. It's a concerning trend. Sometimes OoO is just a noob trap, but it can be devastating. I'm very confused by what the source of this trend is. I haven't seen any more posts about Object on the subreddits, the forum, Youtube, or /vg/ than is normal, so this change doesn't seem to be traceable to a single source, but there's definitely been a recent rise in use.

That’s Fine with me, it helps the killers with the Undetectable status.

I've noticed a huge rise in the number of Stealth Killers I face. Perhaps that is being driven by the OoO rise. Who knows.

Maybe it is because of Freddy? I haven't encountered any OoO right now, but I just started playing like an hour ago.

I ended up figuring out a... Really silly build that makes OoO rather pointless against my Freddy.
Dying Light + Save the Best for Last.
You ignore the Obsession HARD. Unless you need some personal space, their existence is a non-concern.

Never thought of using stbfl with freddy, I can see why you are using that build.
But that is not a silly build imo since by ignoring the obsession you are building stacks from the rest for both stbfl and dying light.

Well, "silly" is relative, since OoO is going on in the background.
That being said, I very rarely find OoO users in my games.
I'm just surprised my build works so well. Haven't had any matches with worse than Ruthless because Dying Light slows the game hard enough to make the 12-hook strategy viable.

I've been running it as a solo. But also mainly out of boredom. It's fun having a target on my back. Definitely get tunneled out of some games. But oh well.

Not even joking. Object of Obsession makes my games so much easier as it literally cuts out the part where I have to waste time during the early-game looking for the first survivor.
A few examples:
I really wish more people ran that perk.

As Trapper main who struggle with OoO, this is beautiful.

OoO raise will be followed by stealth killers raise when everyone realise that is free X-Ray vision.

Like everyone knows it's BS since it's release. BHVR just don't cares.

Speaking from personal experience, there are usually a lot more ooo users right after rank reset for a couple of days, then they become rarer
