Is it worth being friends with them?
So I've been doubting my friend choices lately. I've had this little group of friends for about 6 years. When I first met them, they were cool. We hung out a lot and just were good friends. In the past year, they aren't as nice. They make jokes at my expense, treat me like I'm beneath them, and just don't talk to me a lot. One time recently, I joined an Xbox party and they all went silent. Tried to act like they weren't there. So, I guess the question is this; is it even worth being friends with them? Or should I just forget the 6+ years I've known them?

Ditch them. Sounds like they have become rather toxic and it is better if you leave them now.

My trick is to flip a coin. You don't have the respect the outcome, but ask yourself: were you happy or sad that that was what the coin told you? Make your decision based on that.

If you even have to consider it then that should already let you know. Screw em there's lot's of cool people out there.

If they're ghosting you, f*ck 'em.
I make jokes about MY mates, but we all know it's for fun, and I expect they do the same.
I've also been ghosted by a long-term friend and care not for them any more. Just forget and move on. If they ask, be truthful, but not strictly polite.

They don't sound like friends if they do that. You probably would prefer friends who treat you as you treat them.

That fact that you've even added this post says everything my friend. I know I would rather wave them off and feel crappy for a bit but my head would be high other than have this going through my head everything's I tried to talk with them. Toxic isn't the word. You're better than that ☺️

Well...that's obviously not how friends should behave. Confront them about their behaviour and make your decision based off of their reaction. They will probably not stay your friends, but you have a chance of making peace with it by knowing why they act that way.

Unless of course they're ghosting you cause you're supporting that spray-tanned calf or anyone like him. then they're right to have ditched you.

If they're ghosting you, talk to them about it or ditch them, is my advice.
Slip inside the eye of your mind first, and figure out what you want to do.

the forums are a bit of a mess I don't know why anybody would connect them with having fun in a video game tbh
you are too invested into them if suddenly losing access to strangers bad opinions and discussion methods seems like a bad thing
