Justice for Day of the Dead legions

Remember when the legions best cosmetics got nerfed.

They had this really awesome of bright blue glowing effect.

If you want to see the in game effects

Now after they were "fixed" it looks really dull and boring.

Considering I initially bought the cosmetics because of the glowing effects it's really annoying that now they're removed. Could we please have them back especially considering they were advertised as having an ethereal blue glow in the banner art.

Well they say "extremely bright" so it probably sitll emits, just less brightly, but I do agree its a tad bs to sell it for that and then change that later.

idk, would have to see it ingame from a survivors perspective, I might test it later in a KyF

    @Peanits @not_Queen

Sorry to bother you guys this is probably not your top priority or even of interest to you but I was wondering is there any plans on reverting this change and if not could you at least put it forward for a discussion about reverting it.

Even though it might come across as a bit pessimistic I don't think this change was done to intentionally screw people over maybe it was just an oversight or something but still an answer about the problem would really be appreciated.

Yeah, why change it? I don't understand. If it looked that way from the get go then everyone knew what they were getting when they purchased it, and were happy to own it. What reason to change it.

Edit: Did Jane's and David's glow too? Cause if they didn't, then it probably was a mistake. But even if it was, people were happy to purchase Legion for the glowing effect and it wasn't hurting anyone to have it...

How lame, ruining something that didn't need any change to it at all. Might as well get rid of the glow effect on all the blighted Halloween skins to keep things "consistent" with other killers.

I don't actually have the Jane cosmetic but luckily I do snapshot every ghostface selfie I take

    Jane's bloodtrail makes her look like a Billy-goat! 😊

See, I have Jane's and it doesn't glow like this, its just a standard white mask...I didn't even know how it could have been bright when I bought it...boohoo...

I don’t see why they would. It’s not like it gave an advantage (literally the exact opposite). So people who wore them knew they would be seen more which was kinda the point.

Maybe there was a color blind issue? Doubt it though because no one has complained about it.

    Apparently it was a bug.

Which conflicts with the actual cosmetic banner showing that that's how it was meant to look.

However if it was genuinely a bug a lot of people really liked the bright glowing effect and brought the cosmetic because of that. I wouldn't mind if it was changed the next update or hotfix from when they're cosmetic was released but it was in the game for months before it got fixed.

Which meant the Bright blue glowing aspect of it was the unique selling point of the cosmetic so getting rid of it doesn't feel right bug or not. I do at least hope they read this thread and revert the change.

Sadly, us colourblind gamers' pleas for accessibility have not been met, so highly unlikely that had anything to do with it.

Sadly I don't think anything is ever going to be done about it.

Which is a shame because the Day of the Dead used to be my favourite cosmetic for Frank until it got changed I mean at least I could look forward to NSS Frank.

Yep, this change is bad. The cosmetics look super different without the glow. And because of the wonderful refund policy - that is, there is no refund policy - anyone who bought the cosmetics before the change, due to how they look, gets screwed.

I feel really bad because not only did I recommend it to a couple of my friends but I also recommended it to some survivors who like the look of it when I was playing against them

I'm sure if you tell them about the non-existent refund policy they will feel a lot better! After all, that was the only communication regarding the Halloween items not being refundable, so you know that it must be a really good response!

Still makes my recommendation seemed disingenuous even if the recommendation was made a long time ago.

However I am enjoying my new NSS Frank so that's something I guess hopefully for the love of Amacky they don't change that too. ( with the exception of giving the mask facial animations if they get the Tech to do that)
