Was i wrong doing that?
Sry for bad English.
Recently I had a match as Freddy with 9 sec dream transition (CP and PB). First of all, I found Dwight near my Ruin and put him in the dream and hooked him. I walked around the hook for about a minute (approximately 20 meters away) and found Feng, put her in the dream too. CP showed me auras of other 2 survs working on gens. I went to the nearest one (~40 meters away) and put him to sleep. Then I saw Feng was trying to save Dwight (he reached the 2nd stage btw) and I returned to the hook. I hit Feng and put Dwight in the dream world. I was gonna chase Feng but Dwight ran out in front of me, got hit and then died on the hook. No one survived.
In the postgame chat Feng accused me of camping Dwight. So, maybe I shouldn't have come back to the hook that time and instead chase the person which aura was showed me by CP? Or maybe I shouldn't have walked around the hook? What did I do wrong?

Vocal Survivors will often say anything that does not guarantee a free unhook is "camping", and will often attempt to berate the Killer in any way they can to play in the least efficient way possible. If you're not hacking or exploiting, you're in the clear.

Welcome to DBD, where toxic survivor mains shame you into playing the way they want. i.e. lose.
In any other game, they'd be banned, but banning is a not for this realm I guess1 -
Best part of playing on PS4! People have to go out of their way to send toxic messages so it rarely happens (although I did get a few), and I believe you can set messages to private there as well.

Don’t listen to those crybabies. They try to deceive killers into thinking they’ve done wrong because they’re too stupid to adapt to your playstyle. This is why a Killer granting mercy is a very rare sight.0

You can choose to do whatever you want. I would think that a minute is a little bit long to be circling around a hook, unless you think you saw someone and are searching for them, or you have a perk like whispers that is telling you someone is near. While you can obviously check nearby line of sight objects for hook farmers, if you don't know that someone is there, it's generally considered more sportsman-like to start patrolling generators again after hooking someone. After all, if you really did circle the hook for a full minute, then the survivor would've passed from phase 1 to phase 2 of the sacrifice without a survivor having a chance to safely unhook them.
Perhaps the rules are different for Freddy since a survivor not in the dream state can literally run in and unhook the survivor without getting hit, but generally that's done at the cost of being put into the dream state.
Nonetheless, if you want to face camp him, you can do so. You can literally do whatever you want, except camp the same player across multiple games, as that is considered harassment. So you could do what I do and just type "gg" and/or leave immediately after each game and not worry about the salt.

If your precious totem is next to a hooked survivor, it's actually ok to camp the area as you practically got two points of interest there, both more important than any single generator. You will be called a camper often for that, but that's just the way it is.0
