Switch Player looking for Freddy

I am just curious as well when we may see Freddy. Does anyone know anything. I mean I was super excited to be able to play against him and see that it works on the Switch but knowing that just makes me wonder what is taking so long. I mean at this point I am sure it is just the license thing but I wonder why that is taking so long. I mean now that I know he can already work on the system there goes my one thought of why it may be taken a while. Now it seems it can only be that one reason.

Sadly I was more excited with the prospect of getting to PLAY Freddy instead of the Blight but still no Freddy but for now I am thankful I get to get killed by him. If anyone can maybe offer some more news on why it is taken so long now or maybe even a window of when we may get him please feel free to share. Thanks and sorry for bothering you kind folks with this dumb question.

    The rights to Freddy reverted back to the Craven estate last year.

    This means its likely that BHVR only have the license for what was already in game as it was another company and they would have to sign a new deal with the Craven estate.

    I kind of figured this already but actually kind of thought maybe they were trying to figure out if the dream world would even work with so much extra going on while on the switch. I mean I love my Switch but I do know it is still limited. I am happy to see it does and can work fine. I just wish we knew if they were working on getting the license again and maybe if they have a predicted time frame or date. I am more excited for him than I am Blight. lol
