How Killers and Survivors View "Licenses"

So just like how we see characters like Demogorgon, Laurie Strode, Pig, Michael Myers, Bill, Steve, etc as licensed characters from movies, tv shows, and other games, is it possible that the various killers and survivors within the fog view each other the same? Like is there a chance that maybe Quentin Smith saw a movie once that the leading actress was playing let's just say Kate Denson or maybe Nancy and Steve saw a movie with Jake Park or Ace Visconti in it? Maybe they weren't horror movies, but could it be possible? We always assume that the original characters are fanboying and fangirling the licensed characters, but is it also possible that it was the other way around as well?

Plot twist, none of these characters actually watch any movies but claim they are well known actors and no one believes each other.

《Bill, Laurie, Quentin, Tapp, Ash, Steve, Nancy and Cheryl see Jane Romero》

"Oh my God, it's her! Oh, she is such a brilliant presenter! I am awestruck"

《Jane sees them staring at her》

    "Who the Hell are you?"

Mcote said in an early lore stream that the events of Hallowee actually happenned in the dbd universe, so i believe neither of them are movie characters in their's repective universes.

they say license because they are other ideas from other people and the devs are using people ideas and need to keep there rightful and original owners. If they didn't say license and the devs took them without permission then they can get sued for taking there idea without going through the whole process with them.

Way to completely miss the point the OP was making.

They were talking about how the original characters interact with the licensed characters, where the original characters (for example, Dwight), were characters in movies from the licensed characters' universes. In this example, Dwight would be from a movie that one of the licensed characters (let's say Cheryl) saw (it could even be a game). How would she react to seeing a character she believed to be fictional standing right in front of her?

Another example would be if Spirit was a monster that was in a movie that Quentin saw once. How would he react to a formerly fictional monster hunting him down? THAT'S what the OP was saying. Not asking for the reason they are called licensed characters.

you do realise the 'dbd universe' is the Entity Realm, it's not an actual universe but rather a pocket dimension that the Entity use to manifest places based on memories from Survivors/killers, the survivors and killers are from separate universes,

the only other logical explanation to 'the events of Halloween actually happened in the dbd universe' is that Michael, Laurie and Haddonfield are actually manifested from the collective memories of survivors who remember watching Halloween since it's a very popular film, similar to how the Minotaur came to the realm, that would explain why in the lore, there's no mention of them being abducted by the Entity...

    ...wait a minute...

I don't know, i just remenber mcote saying around the time when Halloween came out that in their universe, the story actually happened. It rather stick them being a real story than being movie characters, it's less boring.

Imagine Steve and Nancy are swooning over Dwight Fairfield, the patriotic former Navy SEAL who now stars in all sorts of blockbuster action movies!
