Kindness is Key

Recently I've noticed on both sides that the end-game chat has been particularly nasty. This would not been an issue if the reports of toxic players saying awful things wasn't just sent into the ether to never really be properly addressed but this is the world we live in. With that being said just please be mindful when leaving comments in end-game chat no matter what your experience is. Constructive criticism is honestly such an underused method of addressing frustrations. Just today I went against a doctor who did really well and at the end of the match he said "You all are so boring, please learn how to loop or delete the game."

This is exactly what I am talking about, I don't really understand why somebody would complain about winning. I understand as somebody who plays killer that it can feel a bit too easy when there aren't people great at looping, but in my own defense I bought the game two months ago. Just because I'm rank 7 does not mean I have a full grasp on looping and out-smarting the killer, as everybody knows rank doesn't really speak to skill entirely within DBD. If you can offer constructive criticism like how to avoid doc's shock therapy, or know when to attempt a vault or when to not with it that would be awesome, as I don't face doc's that often, especially not ones with extended electrodes and another green perk I did not take note of. I don't expect pity but if you want to critique somebody's gameplay, at least offer constructive criticism so next time you face them you have a better overall experience. Of course he want on to insult my intelligence when I asked if he had any pointers for me, and go much further but I'm not really offended by what strangers on the internet have to say about my skill at a VIDEO GAME.

Overall if you want a killer to behave differently or a survivor to, offer them constructive criticism because more often than not, if you're going to be nasty to somebody they're probably not going to follow your advice to say the very least. You don't have to bow at people's knees but I think even just a droplet, a single shrivel of respect and human decency goes a long way to improving gameplay. At the end of the day if you don't have anything constructive to say, just move on to your next match.
