So we agree this event is crap right? Does this feel good? Is this exciting or enriching to the experience of DBD? Or is it naked corporate marketing at the expense of the players?

I can already see that those who will manage to get it will constantly wear this charm and won't stop bragging about it, making those who cared feel miserable for not having it 😒

Someone has probably already made a bot to instantly input the code on 10 alternate accounts. Don't waste your time trying to get one.

we should get these charms by just going onto the game not watching some streamer.
btw I think the dev want us stop playing the game why else would they make us watch a streamer not play the dam game.

Console players will only get the Dwightcrow if they're friends with a fog whisperer or watch one that has like 10 viewers. No way console beats pc with keyboard typing out a code.

Each streamer code is only for 10 copies of the charm LMAO
I'm not even going to bother. What a waste.

If your console player i would recommend waiting on the dwightcrow charm maybe a week time the codes will be in less demand I haven't gotten one myself but pc a bit to fast.

I luckily got mine, thekller is posting them in chat so ur able to copy and paste them. Not a big help for console players tho. Paulie mentioned something tho, maybe it will become easier for them soon? Idk, don't quote me on that :(
Also Paulie does gives out those codes in a way that console players have a chance too. At least he did in his stream today.

Getting the code is rough when you're on Xbox.
Because you have to use the stick to type things in on Xbox's own keyboard interface by the time you're halfway through the code is already long since used up.
I tried like 10 times and just gave up

Guys if u want a chance to get dwight code head over to twitch xstarwake there streaming now. But to make it fair on console players there putting the code on the overlay but missing the 2 last digits so it gives everyone chance to get one the about 3 mins later they put the last 2 digits in chat for you

This is so impossible. I can't type fast on english because this not my native alphabet. I tried to launch dbd in windowed mode and copied an auto-recognized text within 20 seconds, but it was already redeemed. I give up.

OMG I GOT IT!!! CrunchyEggrollz streaming right now and he typing codes slowly for everyone could get it. I set dbd to windowed mode and typed with him and I got it! There was only 150 viewers so competition was little.

I've tried it just for fun because I know that it's night (early morning) in the US now and I got it first try on PC! 😅I mean, I wasn't that fast and I was watching Geef (he was in my recommended on twitch), and despite him having 500+ viewers, I still got it no problem, really surprised. But if I didn't I wouldn't try again. This mechanic is still stupid.

Im not going to waste my worthy life time watching random twitch streamers in the attempt to get a freking charm. BHVR is really shady with their tactics.

the only tough part about the dwightcow codes is that yeah you have to act fast, but they forgot the part about inhumanly fast.
Even with only 2 digits to input the codes are used up in less then half a second. so yeah.
I'll still try though but....
Oh are they region locked? I'd hate to be trying to get something I can't even get.

@KingOfBadRNG New trapper with pumpkin head charm code is "twitchortreat". Posted on one of the DBD twitter accounts.

WTH it's a survivor-only charm? That's really weird.
The Trap-o-lantern and Dwightcrow charms should both be universal, it makes no sense to have it this way.

Like with a lot of the devs decisions, I don't get it either. The Dwightcrow especially should be universal since it's difficult to get and Dwight never got a charm when he was on the rift. I wanted to put the Trap-O-Lantern on some of my hooks.
