The Deadly Deceit tome challenge.
What the hell is this? I've played 4 matches, 2 of which were doctor, and only have 48 on progress. Is there something I'm missing with this? Am I NOT supposed to use my power?

I’m pretty sure it’s bugged; I played several matches, including a 32k bp game, and my progresss is still stuck at like 1k total.

It should be capped at 8k maximum per game.

I just earned 16 points towards the challenge during a match as Wraith. There's no score event that even rewards as few as 16 Bloodpoints, is there??

Myers stalk maybe, if you tap once and then never use it again. Ghost Face too maybe.
I think when Adrenaline triggers it also gives you 2 or so points, but I don't know the name of the score event off the top of my head.
Plague has that too sometimes, I think when you fully infect someone there is a random score event for 2 points or so.

Those are bonus points, I don't think they count towards a category specifically. They shouldn't count towards the challenge.

I meant technically. Maxed out the category and had 4 BBQ stacks with a 75% offering for deviousness. That would give me 22k technically.

The Deviousness offering might work, but not if the points there are considered a bonus. BBQ gives bonus points in no specific category and shouldn't count.

I only did it to experiment. Many many of these challenges have little loophole workarounds in them that make doing them so much easier and faster.. With Distressing it is beyond easy to get the max 8k though. I was still shorted 7k as I did earn the max amount.

Maybe Distressing gives uncategorized bonus points, that for some reason count towards the Deviousness cap.
Or the challenge checks your points weirdly, instead of being based on the scoreboard it counts in-game and ignores the points from Distressing, but Distressing causes you to hit the point cap and then the challenge progress doesn't increment anymore. Add-ons that give more Deviousness might also have this issue.

I'm gonna do more testing. So far in all 3 matches with max deviousness with distressing on I have gotten just above 1,000 points in credit. 1.028 points to be exact. Given that number I can't even guess how broken they have it because it makes no sense.
2 matches had the 75% offering 1 didn't so the offering doesn't seem to matter. Im now gonna try to max deviosness without distressing and see if its the same.
LOL as I load into a match someone brought BPS. We will see what happens here then....

just played a match as Myers and earned 8k points for deviousness but it only counted towards the mission as 22 blood points.

Yeah, they fixed it that way. Probably was easier to just adjust the value to 1 (same for the Survivor-Challenge where you have to get Objective-Points, this was bugged as well) than to fix it properly. Which is fine.
Some Killers were bugged, others not. E.g. I did not get many Deviousness with Clown or Myers, but Huntress worked fine.
