How to fix the Halloween Event
Here are my suggestion to make this event really feel like one:
-Make 6 cosmetic pieces earnable like previous years
-Change the "Pustula Petals" offering to the halloween versions of bloody party streamers,which would be 100% extra bloodpoints per offering for everyone
-This offering will obviously only be useable throughout the event
-Every hook and generator becomes a event hook/generator,that way you can sabotage every hook again
Simply solution to make everyone in this community happy again in my opinion.

I really hope they see the backlash from this event, but I doubt it. Their events just keep getting more and more mediocre. These are good ideas far better than the devs'.

I honestly dont know if even that would be enough to save B€HVR$ reputation at this point and draw back the dozens of players who have just given up (at least for Halloween if not for good)...

I don't think it's even a bad event? Ghostface cosmetics have always been paid DLC. The nurse cosmetics were bought in the rift a long time ago and handing them out free would feel like a slap in the face (I don't even have them for the record).
The legion and blight cosmetics are great. There's tons of easy BP to be had, and the blight dash for the killers is hilarious. What's not to like?

BHVR have shown their hand and these changes aren't lucrative enough to implement anymore. Its all about raking in money now. At any cost.

I invested 300e in this game, after all this phase with the halloween event and how mediocre the rift is, I don't buy anything anymore, I barely play 1 game a week

Nah, won't happened. Devs will stay silenced about it all and wait until everyone will calm down, then they will continue to do what they are currently doing with this game. And it is sad...

We couldn't earn any New Year Skins during the Moonlight Event earlier this year, so it kind of showed that they want us to buy the skins instead

Changing it so you can earn the cosmetics for free now would just be a slap in the face for those who already payed for it.
It's a little to late for that approach

I really hope the devs see this post and apply exactly what you've stated. It really would fix the event. This is my first Halloween event in DbD and it's a big let down.

I really doubt that many people bought all of them already, but for anyone who earns the serum that's genuinely not eligible to claim any other rewards, they could easily refund them the equivalent currency they spent to make up for x many pieces.
Lord knows they could use the goodwill after slapping everyone in the face already with such blatant indifference and greed.

If the add ons were all kept after event or none of them including killer to make it even. I love the cosmetics and the add on ideas, maybe more can be made in the future!

Yes, I was really expecting this to be the best event of the year for DbD. I'm not mad at the devs but I'm straight up disappointed. :(

I want to start by saying, that I don't think the event is broken. The fact that they haven't given us as much as last time isn't a big deal to me. If it isn't broken, I don't know that it needs fixing. All that being said, I wouldn't be shocked if there were some surprises built into this event, i.e. things to be revealed later as we near Halloween. I doubt they expected this kind of backlash for wanting to work things in as surprises. I could be wrong of course, and nothing beyond what is know manifests. And if that is the case, I'm find with it. I just think people should reset their expectations. If something surprising comes later you can enjoy it. If it doesn't, you aren't let down.
