All About the Blight Serum Addon
Update: The 4.3.1 bugfix patch has sadly removed the Blighted Rush tech. As far as I know the rest of the information in this post is accurate.
Blight Serum is a Killer addon temporarily available to purchase and use during the Eternal Blight event. It costs 3,000 Bloodpoints in the Bloodweb. Using a Black Ward while Blight Serum is equipped will not consume the Black Ward, and consume your addons as usual.
The Blight Serum replaces your primary power button with a Blighted Rush. Blighted Rush can only be used once before having to be recharged by hooking a survivor. You can only have 1 use of Blighted Rush at a time. Pressing your power button while Blighted Rush is available will cause your Killer to move at 230% speed and significantly reduce your ability to turn. You can slam into objects while using Blighted Rush, causing you to stagger backwards and end your rush. You cannot get pallet stunned during a Blighted Rush.
Note: When using Blight Serum on The Blight, you will instead gain extra 1 rush token to use.
There is a special tech that lets you use your primary power while also conserving your Blighted Rush. After hooking a survivor, there is a short period of time in which you can press your power button to use your power.
If you time it right, you'll use your power and not consume your Blighted Rush.
This should allow you to do the following things:
- Cloak with The Wraith
- Rev your chainsaw with The Hillbilly
- Charge a blink with The Nurse
- Ready a Hatchet with The Huntress
- Stalk with The Shape
- Charge a Shock Therapy attack with The Doctor
- Rev your chainsaw with The Cannibal
- Ready a Dream Snare with The Nightmare
- Ready a bottle with The Clown
- Start phasing with The Spirit
- Go into Feral Frenzy with The Legion
- Charge up your purge with The Plague
- Go into Night Shroud with The Ghost Face (although you'll probably get revealed by the hooked survivor)
- Charge a shred with The Demogorgon
- Absorb with The Oni
- Aim down sights with The Deathslinger
- Charge up Rites of Judgement with The Executioner
Killer-specific Notes:
- You cannot place a bear trap as The Trapper or a phantasm trap as The Hag in front of a hooked survivor, and there isn't enough time to move away before your Blighted Rush recharges. Because of that, this tech does not work on those killers.
- You cannot use Blighted Rush while cloaked as The Wraith. You can, however, use it immediately after uncloaking, allowing you to go even faster during the uncloak speed boost.
- Using Blighted Rush while in Stealth Mode as The Pig or crouched as The Ghost Face will immediately uncrouch you.

Note: As of October 22nd, there is a bug that makes you unable to recharge Blighted Rush. I'm not sure how it happens, but it seems fairly uncommon.
