Idk of this is changed or not, but why is it that killers can only use the blight addon for only the event, but survivors can use it as long as they have it.

There is 0 reason that it should work like that.

    Well the survivor one is simply adding a sprint burst to a medkit working like the instaheal by consuming the medkit (I don't play survivor so this info is from reading on this forum). Thus these effects are already in the game, usable by all survivor from the beginning and won't interfere with much else.

    The killer one on the other hand gives EVERY killer blights special ability while blocking their own. This is something new and maybe does not work as intended or consistently?

    So they take the save route of saying the one with already known effects and mechanics (just mixed up a bit) will stay while the other one with the new mechanics (which might break some other mechanics) is only temporary and leave it unspoken if it might become a permanent addition in the future.
