Giving points by category is wrong. Already killers are toxic, in this way not only increase unhealthy competitiveness, but also fuse unsportsmanlike play. Congratulations.

Actually the emblem point system promotes more fair play than previous ones in essense.
To get full emblems for killer they have to end chases quick, get multiple hooks, protect gens and sacrifice.
Before all they needed were bloodpoints and then just sacrifices and survivor up until this walkways worked off bloodpoints alone.
While its not perfect by any means it is designed in a way to try and promote doing more for both sides so the issue you probably are seeing is not everyone cares about rank itself and have personal goals.

The point system isn't too bad. My only complaint is that there isn't enough spillover into the other categories for survivor. For killer you fill up all 4 categories of blood points by just finding survivors, hitting them, and hooking them which are all things that happen naturally and build off each other.
For survivor, it's too easy to just max out on one category and then not get much in the others.
You're competing with others for altruism points. If the killer just doesn't want to chase you or chases another survivor all game, you don't get any boldness without just running at him. Or in the case of you being the one chased a lot, you can cap out boldness really easily and not get any objective or altruism. Survival is really limited.
You should get more spillover into the other categories as survivor imo. Like if you complete a gen while the killer is chasing someone they should get objective points and you should get boldness or survival.

Can I ask what you mean by, "Already killers are toxic?"
As in all killers? What do you mean by toxic?
There are playstyles that are not my favorite, however I wouldn't label them toxic.
