Don't forget how much of an outrage it took to get this damage control. How much of a scandal it took for BHVR to react. Doesn't at all change the fact that BHVR acted incredibly greedy.
Like I said, Let's have fun, Im just pointing this out so that hopefully people don't suddenly forget what they did (or rather didn't do) or get tricked into thinking this was planned, none of it was, it's obvious damage control. Had it been planned they would've included it in the Halloween 2020 announcement blog post.
