Counters to the new ultimate healing build?
is there a counter to the new healing build ayrun has been show casing cause it seems to be quite the problem. Generally curious.

I watched video, I think I'm thinking of the right one, and while it's kinda nutty it seems like you need a lot of effort to make it it's worst.
Kinda like Otz's autodidact build. When it works it's awesome, but you have to change your entire play style and ignore objectives to make it work.
So you probably don't need a hard counter, since the effort-payoft ratio is probably wonky enough to deter people after a couple meme games.

Survivors aren't allowed to have anything new or fun to use. No matter how hard it is to pull off, how many perks, how rarely it works. Plus if they are doing that then no one is on gens. Thought you wanted survivors to stop genrushing...
Then you guys also complain the survivor meta has been the same for 4 years. Make your mind already: you either want new things to shake up the meta or want everything new nerfed?
But oh, I forgot the mention. If killers have strong builds then that's completely fine because it's for killers.

The OP doesn't seem to be coming across as saying they wants it gone. He/she was asking for a counter to deal with it. Big difference.

Is this the one about healing o the ground with WGLF? Because if they're using it you could just not slug.
If it's just really fast heals you could counter it with a killer with insta-downs. Or an addon that gives you insta-downs. Or a perk that gives you insta-downs. Or Plague. Or Legion/Deathslinger's Deep Wound status, which isn't affected by healing buffs. Or Nurse, who gives no s**ts about survivors trying to quickly heal on the other side of a pallet/window.

Yes the OP is displaying the correct behaviour. Instead of whining for nerfs they are asking what they can do about it. More people(both sides) need to have this attitude.

A player, Ayrun, made a video showing a silly combo that lets a team of three pick a fourth off the ground faster than the killer can clean their weapon.
It's cool, and fun, but kinda broken. But I was saying up top it seems to need so much effort to work it's only worth it for the memes.

Ah got ya. I'm guessing it's 4 WGLF and the full menagerie of healing perks.
In that case, in order to use this strategy they'll have to group up and all play together. This is always a blessing for the killer. Survivors who split up are always scarier than survivors who try to squad up and run as a pack.
Spread out the damage. Take advantage of their playstyle. Get as many injures as possible. Slug liberally and get multiple slugs going at once. I don't like to camp or recommend other people camp, but if every survivor is clustering around the hook then it's not really camping, now is it?
I haven't seen anyone trying out this combo but if it's anything like the For The People/WGLF/Soul Guard combo I've been seeing a lot of they're basically gift wrapping the game for you so they can meme around. Enjoy your present.

Are you talking about the video with the Hillbilly?
The killer was clearly meme'ing, he could have easily downed all 4 of them if he wanted to. The "healing build" he presented obviously counters slugging if used correctly, but if you used it how it was used in the video, you'd probably be throwing the game.

That and no one was doing gens for most of that video. I don't get the impression we will be seeing this build often. It didn't look like that Billy was actually trying.
