How do I play against the doctor if I'm solo queuing?

Every time I play against the doctor I am moderately to severely doo-dooed on. Has anybody got any specific strategies when playing against the doctor whilst they're solo queuing? Please let me know, thanks.

    If it's perks you're looking for, bring calm spirit or distortion.

    If it's strategies, try to avoid being around him, his electric blasts allow him to easily locate survivors, but they have a limited range. His shockwave is harder to avoid, so you might just need to tank the shock

    TLDR; don't hang around him
