Pretty sure one of the survivors was hacking, this has been happening for a couple of weeks where maps with weird names have been played and there are dozens of gens.

Have you noticed anything else weird in the match ? I would assume a hacker would use more stuff, while he is at it. Hackers are pretty rare though.

nothing. the killer came and we started nodding at each other and then we farmed

There was most likely a hacker.This happened to me in Swamp and he simply 99'd all gens somehow hooked himself without losing hp and insta healed everyone.
