Who would YOU add to the balance team?
People have speculated that there are only two members of the balance team. If so it might be beneficial to increase this number. Many people complain that the killers are too weak, or too strong. SWF are overpowered, solos are under-powered not to mention balance between killers themselves, perks and addons.
If you could choose to add a person to the balance team, either one who is neutral or one that has a slight bias (to counter any perceived current imbalance), a content creator, a forum member or even yourself, who would you add and why?

Nobody from these forums that's for sure

I would add someone with experience in game development who's not biased. I'm not sure who fits the bill, though, hence the vague description.

I wouldn’t. None of us really know the internal structure, processes or ways of working at Behaviour so even if you put in the most vocal, passionate person in the world there’s no guarantee they’d get to change the things they’d want to change.
I don’t think Behaviour are doing the best job but I’m not naive enough to think it’s as simple as “just hire another X”.

SpaceCoconut and ScottJund. I'm sure a lot of things would be on the hot seat between those two in terms of balance, outside of arguing with the devs about it.

I'd have a go. Would I be able to stop myself from being biased? Unlikely. Would I destroy the game because of my own selfishness? Probably.

It’s not so much a matter of who, as it is a matter of how many.
Behaviour could benefit from a larger team with more personnel in every area of their company.
As the years progress and BE grows as a company, more people will be added to help balance the game substantially.

I would add Thanos, he's good at achieving balance

Maybe someone who atleast play the game in purple rank.

Ow snap

Isn't that the guy that played rank 20 survivor in a video to show how easy it is?

I'd go...
But not as in make this change or that change
But to be there as a tester and explain how I feel on upcoming changes

Scott and Otzdarva

I'd add the oni. I feel he's the only one capable of bonking some sense into them.

Myself so I can make both sides overpowered.

No one, right now every single content creator who takes balance seriously is flawed in some way or another in what they want with the game. They look at the game through their eyes and what THEY want for the game, not what the valid part of the community wants and what would be healthiest for the game.
I will say though, the closest to becoming dev worthy is most certainly Otz.

I feel like the problem with coconut is that he doesnt play survivor at all.

Scottjund and Not Otzdarva

I would remove Ethan or whoever is the person thinking that "clown is fine, you just didn't figure him out" and "ooo is fine". I'm sure they are nice guys, but they surely are incompetent in what they are doing rn.

I would add HybridPanda in, streamer yes and plays more Killer but damn he is fun, I think would add some balance, he isn't toxic when I see him play or cares for a 4k and does his best as a surv.

Our fallen warriors @SpaceCoconut and @LetsPlayTogether, I'm sure they'd have some friendly disagreements but eventually come to an understanding.

John Carpenter.
Actually, save him for the sound design team even though I think he would do much good for both teams.
Constellation Libra for balancing team. Even if it just served as a guiding principle, it would do wonders.

Probably just someone with game dev experience that actively communicates with the community. Not very specific, but I actually wouldn't want people that might know a lot about the game but with little to no dev experience on the team at least.
Can certainly be "consultants" and stuff though. As common as I'm sure they are for such ideas ScottJund and Otz do come to mind for such a role, as they seem to put above average amounts of thought into their ideas and look at the bigger picture a lot of the time.

Not LetsPlayTogether, ever......

If he decided to take over the balance team, Chuck Norris would make DBD balanced by tomorrow.

Otzdarva. He's the ultimate dooter!

The DS stun time would be increased to 15 minutes

He does. Just not very often. I think there is a reason why, but he does.

Probably, since he doesn't like to play Survivor. I hate playing Survivor, but I at least got to rank 4 once.

Otz. I don't agree with everything he suggests; but wowee a great deal of what he communicated in that one video are what most reasonable players want.

Someone that would actually listen to Fog Whisperers. I don't care if it's Laurie from accounting with zero programming experience, just ANYONE that uses that valuable well of information.

FunGoose(Extremely good at survivor and mains Killer a lot more)

Tru3Talent. He thinks things over like a logical human and doesnt assume something is bad simply because he doesnt full understand how to maximize its potential right away.
0 -
He doesn't assume something is bad but he assumes alto of things survivors have are broken and op. Like how he assumes ppl are in a swf whenether they don't go down in 2 seconds.

Better question, who would you throw off the balancing team?
1 -
The Rock.

Yeah. Count me out.

For people who want to have community members on the balance team, what problem do you think that will solve?
It's not a sarcastic question. I'm just curious about what you believe a community rep would do for you that's different from what the devs are doing.

Otzdarva and Scott Jund.

I would sent Otz just so he can go back after a month and explain to people that he is in way over his head and that's there is more to developing then game knowledge. People would probably listen to him.
If you go to any game development compony who's hiring developers and upon asked what your experience is you reply "i have over 4000 hours in that game you made." You will just get laughed at and sent to the door.
So if they are adding to the development team, they should add an experienced developer and not an entertainer.
It would be nice though to have a developer that communicates with the fog whisperers and explains why certain things can or can't be done. But most companies don't like sharing internal information with non employees so i don't see it happening.

People that play the game.
As a serious answer, I would add "at a high level" to the end of that.

This content has been removed.

SpaceCoconut, but only if he would start caring about survivor's fun.

But games companies do hire games testers. Games testers can test for bugs AND balance.
