Is it me or the blinding time is increased?

Everytime I tried to blind killers (a Spirit and a Hag in particular) it took ages to blind them, to the point I thought they had Lightborn but they didn't. Unfortunately I can't try it because it seems today is Franklin's Demise Day... does anyone else had the same experience?

    I had my killer blinded from behind. Don't care what times you have since I can't avoid it anyway
