Explain This To Me Please

Is there a reason that legion can't see scratch marks when in frenzy? It seems like a pointless mechanic to weaken an already weak power.

Also, is there a reason that hitting someone who already has deep wounds takes you out of frenzy?

Both feel like needless handicaps. I agree that hitting someone with deep wounds shouldn't down them in frenzy, but taking you out of frenzy is so stupid. The game shouldn't punish you for hitting a survivor.

Because when you hit someone while frenzy you can see the other survivors locations, even in lockers.

It seems to be an attempt to give Legion a downside - theirs is the easiest to use and least counterable ability in the game, so they have to at least have seen or heard you before they go into it.

The entity thrives off chaos and becomes displeased with repeated actions (tunneling). So she powers legion down so to speak.

Legion can't have nice things because he broke the game twice. When he first came out people quickly learned they could frenzy someone, turn around and walk backwards. They would follow your blood trail until you had to mend then they would hit you. Since it wasn't technically a chase the mending never paused. Impossible to escape.

Then there was the mess with the double mending add ons. Each time you hit someone in frenzy their mending time increased until it was actually quicker to get downed and recover.

the plausible reason why is because of how powerful killer's instinct is on legion, especially since there's add-ons that can manipulate killer's instinct, and tracking perks that legion is capable of using.

i feel that it's a necessary evil, since legion already has a lot of power when in frenzy as it is!

probaply to allow the first survivor you go after to attempt to evade your attack with a smart juke, plus they dont want you to locate a running survivor while in frenzy when using it as a tool to traverse the map.

the second question can easily be answered though:

its to disencourage you from attacking the same person twice. FF is ment to be a tool that spreads out the damage, not tunnel one person down with it.

this downside is a remainder of old legion, who was able to reduce the survivors DW time by hitting them with their power again (still possible with Franks Mixtape) and it would be quite broken if they could just stab you over and over, depleting your DW timer with each stab without having any penality on it.

Legion already has one of the best tracking abilities in the game (Killer Instinct). The ONLY real counterplay it has is pathing to the target and bringing them to an area where they don't know how you intend to stop their angry stabbity. Scratch marks would give Legion a visible identifier to let them know how you entered a tile, which would let them know the most likely way you intend to deal with them. Legion WILL find you, KI is insanely good at finding Survivors, but you at least get a "homefield advantage" by being able to get a pallet ready or trick them into obstructions that will waste their time and power.

They bleed, make noise, and you see a giant red marker showing you all their friends.

Do you want it to cook you pancakes too?

They same reason why you can't turn off killer chase music. It's to give the survivors a chase to escape, not a very effective chance, but still a chance.
