It hurts my ears.

Yeah I miss it too. I’m surprised it wasn’t fixed in the last hotfix. He’s got the best chase music in the game.

Isn't his chase theme like someone banging on a trash can on loop or something?

FAIR WARNING: THIS IS A RANT. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ A RANT THEN IGNORE THIS.
'Just a bug' lol. We're so desensitized to bugs being introduced with each and every patch that we don't even care anymore. The severe lack of polish that this game has is just ignored on the daily because there's nothing else that can really satisfy that dbd itch. Anyhow, the lack of a unique terror radius could actually make a difference in terms of gameplay. It could mean the difference between you successfully dodging a static blast or getting found 10 seconds in. Plus, like the op, I enjoy Doctor's chase music so it being bugged is upsetting. At the end of the day, the bug isn't too bad (unlike the plethora of other bugs e.g. Pyramid head's soundbug that makes me not even want to play my favourite killer) but that doesn't mean that the op doesn't have the right to be annoyed. If I'm not mistaken, Behaviour is a multi-million dollar company. The least they could do is actually test for bugs. I mean c'mon, that horrendous fps bug that us PS4 players suffered through for about a week could've been found and resolved BEFORE the mid chapter went live if they simply booted up a copy of dbd with the patch version on a PS4 and realised there was an issue. I could be wrong but it seems to me like they just didn't check or worse, knew about it and still pushed out the mid-chapter on schedule. Doing so with full knowledge that it would ruin the game for a sub-section of the community.
Personally I think complacency is the reason why Behaviour gets away with this. Imagine if Ubisoft broke the game every time they released a new patch in siege or for honor. People would throw a fit, but because this is a smaller company, they're allowed to wreck the game with each and every patch. Let's just ignore the fact that games with even fewer devs have 10 times the amount of polish that dbd has i.e. Their games actually work as intended most of the time with few bugs.
Apologies for the long rant but complacency towards the constant introduction of numerous new bugs is the reason Behaviour keep pushing out patchs filled with more new bugs then bug fixes, lol. If you got this far then I'm impressed, have a nice day and be safe out there.

It's not complacency. It's understanding. I understand that the game is very complicated. There are a lot of things going on here that can't be addressed all at once. There is only so much a human can do in a day. Add on covid challenges and that makes things take even longer. This is a professional game company that has everything mapped out. There is a schedule for fixing things. In the end after everything I have said, it is just a game. It should be treated as such. I have been playing this game since beta and the amount of improvements and fixes they have done to this game is astounding to me.
Nothing is perfect. I have found flaws in the best games by the best companies. Stop demanding perfection and just enjoy what you have. You will have a happier life if you let go of that baggage you carry.

Good it's awful. Just because he inflicts madness in game doesn't mean I need to feel it every match I play as him from the stabbing repetitive noise all match long.
2 -
Cause I like his chase theme so much and to start thinking that they removed it from the game makes me panic

we're not demanding perfection, we're asking they just do better when it comes to bugs and how they handle them.

100% a bug, i noticed it aswell.
really hope they fix it soon

My issue is that Behaviour seem to have a policy of pushing out patches at a break neck pace, with these patches being riddled with bugs and fixing the bugs later. Rather then doing the responsible thing and testing for as many bugs as they can so that the patch is actually ready to be released. Behaviour have shown that they can release things smoothly without many bugs e.g. Endgame collapse or crossplay. IThese things released very smoothly with little to no bugs if I remember correctly. I see that and then I look at the game now and I feel immeasurably disappointed because I KNOW they can do better but aren’t. I understand that these were important to the game and as such behaviour probably dedicated more time to these then usual. Thing is, patches should have a decent amount of polish too, right? I can’t see behind the scenes. Maybe Covid has damaged their ability to test for bugs somehow, I wouldn’t know if that were the case. It definitely didn’t damage their ability to release new content constantly but hey, what do I know? I’m not asking for perfection, bugs WILL slip through occasionally, even games with a lot of polish have bugs. That’s unavoidable. However, the amount of bugs that are being introduced with each patch is staggering. New bugs are being added before they can even fix the old ones. The game may as well be coded on a potato with how bad the code seemingly is. I mean, oftentimes something that isn’t even touched by the patch somehow gets bugged. How did this bug with doctor’s chase music come about? Last I checked they haven’t changed doc in a while, lol. Oh well.

well ye but there is no need for him to yell.. after every patch there is a hotfix the next tuesday and usually another hotfix the tuesday after that.. i just told him to stop using caps and calm down i dont get what i have to do with this rant? the coding isnt bad its just old, and changing old code is very hard compared to changing new one.. and they didnt touch doc but what they did touch was the sound for some killer and touching sound causes a chainreaction to break other sound things and so on.. like the hill bug.. there was a bug that made nurse get stuck in hills or whatever and by touching hills it created a bug that made survivors get stuck and by fixing that nurse can no longer blink through a hill wich is also a bug..
