How do I get better at aiming the Plagues purges?

So I bought my first new killer since I bought the game, (I bought the Saw and NOES chapters when I bought the game,) and I'm loving her. I'm not doing as great with her as I was with the Pig, but I'm having much more fun.

I'm averaging 1-2 sacrifices per trial, not great but respectable. I've noticed that, while I do ok with infecting survivors, since I can infect surfaces and use Vile Purge more often, I can't seem to hit with Corrupt Purge. It's really a toss-up every time I use it if I hit.

Any tips? I'm on Xbox btw. (Yes I know, PC is better, consoles are for chumps, yada yada yada.)

The hitboxes are super wonky since dedicated servers. Similar to clown gas, you can have survivors scream and then wave their hands like they got hit by puke but remain non-impacted.

You really have to get them out in the open with it because around loops it's kind of a toss-up if the game is even going to register your hits. I shake my mouse around violently while doing the corrupt purges to just maximize the area it affects, but vile purges I try to remain somewhat accurate. The rubbing oil is incredible for dishing out a ton of puke quickly.

If I can see a survivor in the distance I'll ready up the vom and if I can get them without them seeing me great, or I'll ready during a chase and get close enough to go for it.

It has kind of a weird trajectory and dedicated servers made it buggy, so just practice, really. You could always go into a KYF match with a friend and practice trying to hit them.

It's a straight arc that peaks at the center of your screen. So the higher you aim, the higher the arc, and thus the longer distance. When you move right, it curves left, and vice and versa. You eventually get a feel for how high you need to aim. There's also a charge time and delay on release. You just need to use it a lot to get a feel for it.

I don't recommend the spray and pray method because it's quite inefficient and you only get so much time with Corrupt Purge. You want to maximize every vomit stream, so accuracy and short bursts are always best unless you're sure you can hit multiple targets.

Realise that it's not a stream but several hitboxes linkee together. If you spray and pray you often end up missing. So don't go too crazy with shaking your vomit

Wiggle your joystick like you're getting picked up. Might help.

Honestly the best thing to do is to force Survivors into situations where you CAN'T miss. Don't go for snipes.
