I don't think lagswitching works with ded servers. I think it's just latency or something.

Or random other hack. But maybe not ls.

So I have heard many things about lag switching and you are telling me that by simply pulling your internet cable and putting it back in creates an EZ win for the lag switchee? Wow, that is such BS dude. I swear, the lengths people will go to in order to ruin fun for people.

I had similar game last night against a Legion on ps4 (crossplay off) on the Rancid Abattoir map. Game was playing normal at start, hits seemed legit and was running as smooth as can be expected on console. After I destroyed his Ruin totem and there were 2 gens left he was all of a sudden hitting me when I wasn't even close to him. First distance hit I had hopped into the main building and was on other side of one of the metal barricades, I all of a sudden was hit down and I could see the Legion red stain through crack in the wall - wasn't even at window or entrance. They had to find where I went down before picking me up. When they did a teammate was able to flashlight save me. Legion went back after me, I went to cow tree and hopped the window there. I was in the corn field when I heard him just swiping over and over and when I looked back he was still at the cow tree on other side of wall - so pretty good distance away. All of a sudden I was hit down in the cornfield while he was by the tree on other side of the wall. He had to search for me again and when he picked me up was super stuttery and froze for second by the hook. When I watched the remaining couple players I saw the same issues with them.

No, that's a different hack that manipulates the net code and allows Survivors to prevent hooking and/or teleport back to the last interactable they touched before being chased.

It does work on a similar principle as a lagswitch, though.

I get a lot of survivors that seemingly teleport when playing killer, but I think that has more to do with for some reason people in Brazil getting matched with people in the Midwest US for some reason.

It is not like a normal known lagswitch but they do something with latency. I had many reports about this subject. I chase a survivor normally then suddenly they disappear I even feel them bumping me invisible, but I can't hit them or I can't hook them. And when I check their pings it reads 1024 assuming that's the highest number we see. It is annoying and frustrating. Cause there are some real pros doing this so well. Even they get with a built for this. When they announced dedicated servers I hoped we were done with these players. But they always seem to find a way to ruin your game.
