Pretty sure you have to be in a chase for this one to work.

Make sure you read the whole description, if nothing works go ahead and submit a bug report.

Easiest to guarantee this challenge will work on Hawkins or Midwich.
Be chased on Midwich and drop from either of the 2nd floor openings down into the center courtyard.
On Hawkins, get chased up to the 2nd floor near the isolation room gen, then drop down the large hole in the floor of the adjacent room.
I used these two maps whenever this challenge appeared.
A 2nd floor fall all the way down to the ground from the main lodge in Ormond also grants success.
If you still aren’t awarded the challenge on any of these drops, then a bug is easier to rule the cause.

Unfortunately, the whole "Fall from a great height" stipulation is super vague and fickle. While shorter drops will activate Balanced Landing (like hills or a handful of Autohaven/Coldwind tiles), they don't seem to be tall enough to count towards these challenges.
You really just want Haddonfield or Springwood for this, because the second floors of all the suburban houses should be tall enough and relatively easy to reach while in chase. Dropping between floors on The Game might work too.
All I know for sure though is that you'd better hope you don't get Shelter Woods; it has no verticality whatsoever.

It worked for me when I vaulted something that caused a drop, such as windows on Haddonfield upper floors. Try that, maybe it doesn't work if you just fall off someone and it has to be a vault.

I have done it by dropping between floors in The Game or dropping off the saloon or platform on the Saloon map.
