A Different Perspective on the Chapter 18 Teaser

Many people are theorizing the next killer is a Wendigo or something similar, but I am skeptical of this. I believe the Hag already fits the likeness of that niche very well. The Demogorgon is also a very animalistic creature that pounces on and shreds survivors, so I don't see how the new killer could be a wendigo of some sort without it being completely redundant of either of them.

In typical BHVR fashion, I think the teaser was made to make everyone jump to the killer being 'x' when there's really a lot more they are not telling us. What's actually more important is what is NOT shown in the teaser.

This was the case for The Spirit's teaser. Everyone saw the man with the katana and thought HE must be the killer, but everyone neglected the possibility of the woman he attacked (Rin) being the killer. I think the same holds true for this teaser. Maybe the person off-screen that this creature attacks is the actual killer and who we should focus on. Is this a random victim or do they have some connection to the beast? Do they become cursed or afflicted with something that turns them into another one of these monsters, or is it something entirely different altogether?

We honestly have no idea who or what the killer is by going this route, but I'm curious to see if this is the correct approach for this teaser. At the very least, I'm confident it will be an original chapter and I'm hoping it's another female killer. Can't wait to find out!
