Why I'm learning Nurse.

For some time now, the simple IDEA of even touching nurse, scared me. As much as I like challenges, even I know when something is too much for me. Maybe I'm just bad (insert Yes you are comment here)

That was 300 hours ago and a few chapters ago. Here we are, present day, I'm taking steps to learning Nurse. Currently on day 5 and I'm doing really well.

Now for the reason.

Survivors aren't scared (in the sense that, they will lose if they do not do something, not BOO scared)

Killers don't properly have that factor unless it's a really good player that knows how to snowball. Survivors hardly get as stressed as a killer.

Survivors don't have any sort of fear/worry. That's why my goal is to terrorize survivors with nurse. But hell, maybe that won't do anything.

Just saying now though

I'm coming for ya

I'm a nurse main, and I'll tell you RN, good survivors can still counter you by playing weirdly. Don't get cocky once you learn her, and you'll do alright.

Thank you for the kind words fellow Nurse player. I shall keep them for my journey, although I'm sorta cocky in nature I will do whatever it takes to be one of the best nurse players.

No problem. Also if the survivor breaks LOS, blink to where you last saw them and if they double back, hit them, and if they don't, use the second blink to catch up and then hit them.

Nurse is one of those Killers where you’ll have really awesome games with clutch plays. And games where it seems like you do everything wrong.

Always remember that the real skill with Nurse is making reads and being able to predict what Survivors will do ahead of time. Everyone’s brain is different and some Survivors are really, really, really strange. Just don’t get too frustrated by making wrong reads and you’ll do fine. Letting yourself get in your own head and tilt is the easiest way to throw the game

Just remember to use the first blink to close the distance, and the second to secure a hit.

    ^This.

Also as you learn her you'll figure out what playstyle on her you like and what perks will compliment that. But before you even do that I'd try using a lot of different perks to experiment because some perks are usually worthless or barely beneficial but become monstrously good on Nurse due to her unique ability. Like Spies or Tinkerer.

Maybe the survivors you're versing aren't scared (in the sense of losing, as you said), because they're just playing a casual party game aka DbD and they're not taking it as seriously as you do. Just a thought.

I want to stop and have everyone appreciate the actually GENUINE support and advise that is being shared for Killer mains on this thread. We need more positivity and constructive conversations here on this forum.

Yhea the community reps what it sows. When the devs make issues and then we complain, it seems like the majority just forgets it ever happens and let them slide.

I think I sorta am giving up on the devs and game as a whole as its clear to me they won't ever fix these issues.

    I respect your decision.

I am also trying to learn her on console, so far it hasn't gone well, but I have my moments.

    Good luck!
