I do think Victor is a child, here's my argument
NOTE: THERE IS NO MENTION OF CHILD ABUSE IN THIS POST, NO JOKES AND NO MAKING LIGHT OF SERIOUS ISSUES. I'M SIMPLY SHOWING THAT THERE IS A VALID ARGUMENT TO BE MADE THAT VICTOR IS IN FACT A CHILD. AS FAR AS I'M AWARE, THIS IS AN APPROPRIATE DISCUSSION ABOUT THE LORE OF THE GAME, WHICH IS WHY I'VE SPECIFICALLY TAGGED THIS AS SUCH.
Here's my reasoning: imagine a character who lives normally for say 20 years. They enter cryostasis for 20 years, are woken up and then live normally for another 10 years. Sure, physically the body has been alive for 50 years. But mentally, physically and emotionally this person would still be 30 years old.
Therefore, saying Victor is the same age as Charlotte is technically true: their bodies have existed for the same amount of time. But, physically and mentally, his development paused from the moment of his death to the moment of his rebirth by the Entity. You could therefore say that he is an adult or a child and still be correct, depending on whether you're referring to the body or the actual person within.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone agrees or disagrees with this.

Also when Victor died, wouldn't his body stop growing? At that point, they would be physically and mentally a child still.

Honestly, how did the devs not see the backlash coming?

You are wrong as the devs have stated that victor isn't a child in any capacity.

Read the post. He acknowledges the devs' opinion and is offering a counterargument as to why Victor is a child.

If they did say that, then it contradicts the very lore they've put in their own game. That's the point I'm trying to make.

It isn't an opinion though. The devs have said that victor is not a child.

Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one. The Devs stated it, yes but doesn't mean someone can't express an opinion, I quite liked what the OP said.

I never said he can't have an opinion, however it is not true.

Who knew modeling your character to resemble a baby would cause people to call him a baby?
2 -
I mean, he looks like a baby but I doubt he ever developed as an adult...but I don’t think I have a point here. Ha

I agree that Victor is technically is still a child, he died as a child and even if he's revived by the Entity his body and mind is still the same as his corpse over the years.
the only way they can say otherwise is to confirm how old the twins were when Victor died, that age would be his real age and based on how the backstory seems to imply, he died before Charlotte went into her teenage years, so once again, even if his body was frozen for years, his mind is still the same as a child,
so technically a child.

The Twins obviously had been designed with the mother-and-child concept. The devs just deny that & make their backstory that way to avoid the ethic controversy blah.

Based off the backstory it sounds like Victor died prior to both his and Charlotte's teen years, but I could be wrong.

Interesting post, I never thought about it that much! I would argue that perhaps Victor wasn't really 'dead' and had some sort of revival or reawakening. He may or may not have developed during that time, we can't say for sure. Also, I think he may either have been a pre-teen or (possibly) young adult had he aged during his 'death.' Gosh, this is confusing to think about haha! He's also deformed and may have issues speaking or interacting with people/things due to this, so in some ways he may be seen as 'immature' for his lack of performance abilities.
