The Spirit's kimono outfit head gives an advantage over the default head because of the hair length
The outfit is called "The Reckoning".
The default head has the long flowing hair that goes up quite hair. The head of the outfit has a different hairstyle. The hair is much shorter but her body size remains the same. This makes it harder to spot her when using that head, with the default hairstyle it's easier to see her hair over walls or other objects. It's possible that there are no objects in the maps where you are unable to see her when she is using the kimono head but can see her when using the default head, in this case it wouldn't make a difference.
In any case, the advantage it gives (if there even is one) is not major. And you can buy the outfit with Iridescent Shards. Wanted to point this out though.

It's part of the reason why I decided to get it. That and I prefer the way it looks over her default hair.
