Matchmaking what is the point
Been like this for the past 3 days. Every game, like i can compete against this. Absolutely no point in playing.

MMR system comes back soon, then Rank wont matter for real this time.

Where do you get the info about it coming soon?

Soon is a relative term.

I feel ya, I took a decently sized break, but I'm still at red ranks. So currently playing is more than a little frustrating.

I have same issue. I play for fun, not speed, or camping hooked. I leisurely walk from gen to gen scouting. If someone gets unhooked I feel like letting them heal first and get some fun instead of being camped. I hit speed demon games that get gens started rather quickly it seems. A question do any of you play catch n release on newbies? "Trying to see if any true gamers have honor" If I catch a newbie for 2 or 3 time really quick I drop them off by a gen to get healed and earn points. None stay behind after gates open. All hang out gate flipping you the bird 🐦 pretty much. No honor. I have stayed behind cause the killer did me in twice and let me go third time. I know there are some killers out there doing it.

I feel you. The matchmaking is what prevents me from having fun in DBD. It's easy to say, "just play for fun", but adopting a carefree attitude is kind of hard when you keep getting wrecked over and over. It's like playing a boss battle that you can never win. Yeah you might have fun playing the game, but that fun ceases to be if you can't progress past a certain point.
It also doesn't help that this is how BHVR expects you to practice. With there being no official practice mode, you're forced to compete while you practice which sets the bar incredibly high when trying to learn new killers and survivors.

I get it. I don't know if comforts you a bit, but it's also happening to survivors (low levels being matched against rank 1 sweaty killers).
Sometimes I just wish they let inexperienced killers get the inexperienced survivors and vice versa.
