Am I a camping tunneler?
The title is a rhetorical question but heres the scenario that made these survivors so upset.
I was using Plague, with make your choice, there was an unhook that activated it so i was at least 4 meters from the hook. I go back to the hook to look for scratch marks or any sign of the exposed survivor. i had nothing that made me undetectable so my terror radius was 32 meters yet i find them healing next to the hook. I down the exposed survivor...picked him up and put him right on the hook that he was under.
during that time, instead of running, the second survivor hops in a locker right in front of my face and i think "oh you must have decisive...i'll eat that with 5 gens still up so i wont have to deal with it later in the end game when it really matters" I grab the Feng out of the locker and it was a bluff. No DS...so you're getting hooked for being stupid.
but there was no second hook. there were 2 immediate disconnects and I was flooded with messages (ps4). I didnt bother responding because i dont argue online, nor do i argue with children, nor do i argue over a game. but im just curious, are there any survivor mains who see that scenario as the killer playing dirty? I'm a rank 1 killer and a red rank survivor as well, i never use DS because i just run away when i get unhooked. i find most times as killer when i eat a DS its because i lose track of who i hooked and i find the survivor somewhere they shouldnt be. like near a gen when i have a terror radius to announce my presence. and as for camping...I mean, the perk make your choice makes it so that you literally cannot camp a hook and activate it.
i just find it baffling that so many survivors feel like the killer needs to be afraid of them rather than the other way around...another disconnect happened recently as the doctor, i hooked someone in the basement and they were literally unhooked in front of my face before i even made it up the steps. so i hit the healthy survivor who jumped out the window and ran, while the guy who just got off the hook didnt even bother to run by me. he just sat there and started trying to snap out of madness in front of me, so i hit him and he had borrowed time of course. with the other guy being gone i decided to chase the borrowed time guy to the next pallet and i was just gonna slug him because eating a DS then would have been bad for me with most of the gens done. i down him as he drops the pallet and then disconnect. and the messed up part about that game is they could have won, that guy had only been hooked once and i probably wouldnt have been able to recover from losing the gens i lost early on. but with that 1 survivor out the game i steamrolled the rest of them.
for me, as a survivor....the game is more fun if i run from the killer. the second i start to think "how dare the killer not let me ignore his presence" it will just get really silly.
end rant

No this is just survivors being special.
Healing at the hook, vs a Plague, with MYC, when it's clear she's returning to the hook? I think you've just found my usual solo-q teammates lmao.
Also, MYC on Plague? Make people one-shot on a killer who's power either doesn't work with exposed (Corrupt) or makes them one-shot forever (Vile)? Bruh this entire game sounds like a ######### show

MYC is because i dont have many perks with her yet. and its mainly for the end game. its actually been working out pretty well if there are 2 survivors left.

Not tunneling, I understand that people are afraid of MYC etc but usually the killer goes for whoever they see, if someone else is there but hiding the survivor shouldn't blame the killer, they should blame the survivor who just hid.
I just had a similar match, a Nea was doing a gen after being recently unhooked, I came back she dead hard to a locker, I had someone on hook right there, she instead of rescuing decided to locker DS, I just stayed there, she at the endgame chat started cussing me (the one on the hook) because I "camped her" bruh blame your teammate for doing that stupid thing.

Their foult for helping under hook. Feng could've used her brain and just run after unhooking

The fact that MYC activated means you can't be a camper. And the fact that you searched for the exposed survivor first rather than going for the Feng, means you are not a tunneler. As simple as that...

Well I'm going to say I understand trying to get healing points, if they were legit healing against plague for the purpose of being healthy regardless of MYC, well, they've already messed up there. All you need to do against plague is stay hydrated.
They made some really poor decisions and paid for it, but didn't understand why they were paying for it.
On your end, you're absolutely fine, you're neither a camper or tunneler. They had ample time to do something other than try to heal...against a plague. People are very silly.

Aren’t we all camping tunnelers deep in our hearts?

I think that entitled mindset comes from only playing one side. there are plenty of times as a survivor where i make a mistake or do something stupid or bold and i think "yea, i deserved that" after i get punished. but even as survivor, half the time the other survivors disconnect as soon as they go down, killers can be ######### too. but thats a different topic. survivors are on a whole different level.

What is the point of clickbaiting with a rethorical question?
You already knew the answer and it's an exercise in futility to discuss about their entitlement when clearly they didn't have a clue about how to play the game.

The real camping and tunneling wasn't the match, but the friends we made along the way.

tl;dr. But my thoughts are as such. Camping and tunneling are viable strats in the game, just because it may not be fun for the survivor, does not mean you shouldn't do it. realistically speaking, anything that opposes a survivors win could probably be considered unfun. So tunnel and camp to your hearts content.
Second, it's called Make Your Choice for a reason. Either get the person who's exposed, or get the person who's injured, both are one hit downs. So as the name suggests, make your choice.

I’m more curious about why you even have MYC on plague lol
