However, it's a killer perk. Kinda weird considering Clown's potential future tome.

It's not his Tome tho. They're basically breaking the foundation of ealier tomes.

I believe it was originally leaked that this rift was supposed to also include Adam and Clown but they decided not to include them. I think partly so they could put the Blight challenges in and partly so they could cut bunch of challenges so rift would take longer to complete.

It was obviously a rush job. Adam and Clown were meant to be in this Tome.

My guess is either rush job (Adam and Clown both have new unique outfits to unlock in the rift and challenges as pointed out) or they have a part in the last piece of lore that isn’t dedicated to one character.
